  • Patent number: 6551434
Abstract: A method of producing an extrusion-laminated member comprises extruding a thermoplastic resin from a T-die into the form of a film and laminating the film on a heated metallic base member using a pair of laminating rolls, wherein a pre-roll is disposed between the T-die and one of the laminating rolls to receive the film on the side opposite to the side that adheres onto the base member over the whole width of the film. The film is wound on the pre-roll at an angle (&agr;) of from 10 to 90 degrees. The film received by the pre-roll is fed to the laminating rolls, conveyed by being supported by the laminating rolls on the side opposite to the side that adheres onto the base member, and is fed to a nipping position so as to be melt-adhered onto the heated metallic base member.

  • Publication number: 20030042645
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for extruding polymer blend resin which is capable of satisfying performances which are necessary as a resin-coated metal can even when the resin-coated metal can is produced through an extremely stringent working such as drawing, deep drawing, bend-elongation by drawing, stretching or ironing. After feeding thermoplastic resin A to a biaxial extruder through a first raw material feed port of the extruder, the thermoplastic resin A is plasticized in a molten state and is subjected to degassing under reduced pressure. Thereafter, thermoplastic resin B whose melting temperature or softening temperature is lower than a melting temperature or a softening temperature of the thermoplastic resin A is fed to the extruder through a second raw material feed port. Assuming Lb as a length of a blending zone and D as a screw diameter of the extruder, the thermoplastic resin B is blended with the thermoplastic resin A in the blending zone of Lb/D=0.5 to 5.

  • Publication number: 20020187008
Abstract: The cable holder is deposited and fixed on the ceiling part of a sewage pipe made of resin and supports an optical fiber for communication, which is passed through the pipe. The cable holder has a longitudinal section similar to that of an inverted pot and a narrowed inlet opening, and is provided with a pair of claws arranged toward the axial direction of a pipe at its upper part. A cable holder driving device is raised in a state where the cable holder is heated, wherein a pair of claws are pressure-fitted into the ceiling part of the pipe. The pressure-fitting is carried out to such a degree that the cable fitted to and supported by the cable holder is brought into contact with the inner wall of the pipe. After the cable holder is cooled down and fixed, the cable passed through the pipe is pushed in the cable holder through the inlet opening.

  • Publication number: 20020166637
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for manufacturing laminated material which can remove ear portions of a resin film extruded from an extruding machine and can directly laminate the resin film to a substrate and can make the processing of end portions of a laminated material after lamination unnecessary. The present invention also provides an apparatus used for such a manufacturing method. In the method for manufacturing laminated material which laminates a resin film formed by extruding molten thermoplastic resin from a T-die to a substrate, a laminating film is formed by cutting ear portions of the resin film before lamination and the laminating film is laminated to the substrate.

  • Publication number: 20020145541
Abstract: Roadside wireless devices (1) are installed at roadside positions corresponding to the traffic lanes entering an intersection. Roadside wireless devices (1) are also installed at roadside positions corresponding to the traffic lanes exiting an intersection. The roadside wireless devices (1) on the entrance side receive an identification number from vehicle-mounted wireless ID devices (3) of vehicles entering the intersection and transmit them to a roadside traffic monitoring device (2). Thereafter, the roadside wireless devices (1) on the exit side receive an identification number from the vehicle-mounted wireless ID devices (3) of vehicles exiting the intersection and transmit them to the roadside traffic monitoring device (2). From the identification numbers received, the roadside traffic monitoring device (2) is able to determine the entrance from which a vehicle judged to be the same one had entered and the exit from which it exited, along with the type of vehicle.

  • Patent number: 6156492
Abstract: An adsorbent for use in direct hemoperfusion to adsorb and remove harmful substances from blood is prepared by immobilizing a sulfated polysaccharide and/or its salt on a water-insoluble carrier. Preferably, the sulfated polysaccharide has a limiting viscosity of 0.005 to 0.5 dl/g and a sulfur content of 5 to 22% by weight, and is immobilized on the carrier in an amount of 0.02 to 200 mg per ml of carrier. Carrier particles can have an average particle size of 30 to 5000 .mu.m, and preferably 120 to 800 .mu.m. The sulfated polysaccharide inhibits adhesion of hemocytes and exhibits an anticoagulation property to extend blood coagulation time, and has additional functions of adsorbing releasing factors released from hemocytes, adsorbing lipoproteins, and enabling reduction of carrier particle size to about 30 .mu.m. Immobilizing a ligand on the carrier with the sulfated polysaccharide makes it possible to adsorb and remove specific substances in blood that bind to the ligand.
