  • Patent number: 8971164
Abstract: An optical component for an optical pick-up for converging a laser beam having a particular wavelength onto a recording layer of an optical disc. The optical component comprises a base material formed of a resin composition, an undercoating which is formed of three layers of thin films having a same main constituent and is formed on a top surface of the base material, and a functional thin film formed on a top surface of the undercoating. In this configuration, each of a first layer and a third layer of the undercoating is a thin film formed without introducing oxygen, and a second layer is a thin film formed while introducing oxygen. A film thickness of the undercoating falls within a range of 160 nm to 270 nm, and film thicknesses of the thin films constituting the undercoating are substantially equal to each other.

  • Patent number: 8734690
Abstract: An orthodontic bracket with a positioning guide is produced by thinly coating a first dental photopolymerizable composition 1 on a bonding surface of each orthodontic bracket B, building a second dental photopolymerizable composition 2 adhesive to the first composition 1 on the bonding surface, adhering it to a tooth surface of a dentition gypsum model 3 reproducing a patient's dentition, a separating material being previously coated on the tooth surface of the gypsum model 3, polymerizing/curing the first and second compositions 1 and 2 by irradiating light, thinly coating a third dental photopolymerizable composition 4 on a tongue side and/or a cheek side entire surface around the orthodontic bracket B on the gypsum model 3, the third composition 4 being easily abraded when an occlusal pressure is acted, and polymerizing/curing the third composition 4 by irradiating light to be integrated with at least the second composition 2.

  • Patent number: 5747597
Abstract: The present invention provides a curable resin composition comprising: a polymer (A) containing a polymerizable unsaturated bonding group; and a polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B). Polymerizable unsaturated monomer (B) comprises as an essential component an oligoalkyl(C.sub.2 -C.sub.4)ether(n=2-15)-monoalkoxy(C.sub.1 -C.sub.18)-(meth)acrylate. This curable resin composition according to the present invention displays superior adherence, air-drying, water resistance, and storage stability properties in addition to a reduced odor.
