  • Patent number: 8881885
Abstract: An apparatus includes a processing apparatus that processes raw material in an airtight state, an accommodation section that accommodates the raw material, a first feeding path that is provided outside the processing apparatus and receives the raw material from the accommodation section, and a second feeding path having upstream and downstream ends that are outside and inside the processing apparatus, respectively. The second feeding path receives the raw material from the first feeding path. The apparatus also includes a joint section that separates and joins the first path and the second path, and a closing section that is positioned in the second path closer to the processing apparatus than the joint section and maintains the processing apparatus, and the second path in an airtight state when the joint section separates the first path and the second path.

  • Patent number: 5505606
Abstract: A nozzle hole sealing device for an injection nozzle capable of blocking a hole at the tip of a nozzle by using a robot in purging an injection molding machine. The nozzle hole sealing device includes a tool changer for connecting the nozzle hole sealing device to a wrist of the robot and a nozzle sealing body for sealing a nozzle hole by contacting the nozzle tip of the injection molding machine, thereby composing a nozzle sealing robot tool as a whole. A chuck mechanism for keeping a nozzle tip in contact with the nozzle sealing body, a heat reserving heater for a nozzle tip contact portion, and a resin passage ranging from the nozzle tip contact portion to a purged resin discharge surface including a constant pressure open value disposed in the middle of the passage may be further included.

  • Patent number: 5445511
Abstract: This apparatus, preferably applicable to a molding machine using the core change type dies, is capable of pushing out the inserted core from the mother mold, thereby facilitating the core extracting operation by the robots. A mother mold of a complementary die in the core change type dies is constituted by a main body and an intermediate plate which is disposed behind the main body and to be movable in both the forward and backward directions. A core fixing and releasing mechanism is provided on the intermediate plate. Furthermore, there is provided a push-out device disposed in a clearance formed between the main body and the intermediate plate when the intermediate plate is shifted rearward. The push-out device has its one surface abutting on a front surface of a core and its another surface abutting on a rear surface of the main body.

  • Patent number: 5249947
Abstract: An injection molding machine of an automatic core change type includes a mold clamping section including stationary and movable platens fitted with first and second matrixes of a mold, respectively, a mold changing robot and a mold stocker severally attached to the mold clamping section and separately controlled by way of a control section, and a temperature controller for controlling the respective temperatures of the first and second matrixes and the mold stocker. As an arm and a chuck move and rotate, respectively, a first cavity unit, attached to the first matrix, is taken out from the first matrix, transported toward the mold stocker, and stored in its corresponding storage hole of the mold stocker. Then, another first cavity unit is taken out from the mold stocker, transported toward the mold clamping section, and attached to the first matrix, whereupon the replacement of the first cavity unit is completed. A second cavity unit is replaced in like manner, whereupon the mold replacement is completed.
