    Abstract: A tire component is fabricated by the steps of forming a narrow belt by arranging a plurality of cords and embedding the cords in a rubber layer, cutting the belt into strips of a predetermined length, and successively arranging and joining a necessary number of the strips such that edge parts of adjacent strips overlap each other with the outermost cord in the edge part of one of the adjacent strips overlying the outermost cord in the edge part of the other strip. The strips can be surely joined without requiring advanced techniques, without wasting materials and without increasing weight. Thus a desired annular tire component can be accurately formed in a desired circumference. The cords are arranged in each strip in a width equal to a length shorter than a length equal to an integral division of the predetermined circumference of a tire by a length corresponding to an increase in the diameter of the tire component.

    Abstract: An image processing apparatus and an image processing method are provided which are capable of changing display from a virtual space image to a real space image or vice versa, or combining them based on the movement speed of the user's point of gaze while the user is moving in a virtual space. An image processing program and a medium recording the same are also provided. In the image processing apparatus, when the movement of a head mounted display (HMD) in the virtual space is detected (Step S111), the movement speed is calculated (Step S112) and it is determined whether the movement speed is equal to or greater than akm/h. When the movement speed is slower than akm/h, an updated virtual space image reflecting the movement of the HMD is created for display (Steps S114 and S118). When the movement speed is equal to or greater than akm/h, the real image then being taken is displayed as it is (Steps S115 and S118).

    Abstract: The present invention provides a polyester film, which is composed of a polyester resin and a polyimide resin, having superior oligomer-restraining property and dimensional stability. This polyester film also has improved surface conditions, that is, has a reduced number of projections on the surface, and hence, the polyester film shows superior electromagnetic conversion characteristics when used for magnetic recording media. In particular, this polyester film is effectively used for high-density magnetic recording media. This film is composed of a polyester resin and a thermoplastic resin other than a polyester resin, and has a number H1 of coarse projections 0.28 &mgr;m or more in height of 0 to 100/100 cm2 on at least one surface of the polyester film and a number H2 of coarse projections 0.56 &mgr;m or more in height of 0 to 10/100 cm2 on the same surface.
