  • Patent number: 8688918
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a program converting device includes an access attribute determining unit, a non-sharing target classifying unit, and a converting unit. The access attribute determining unit calculates exclusive accesses from memory accesses by threads forming a source program and determines a memory access using a cache memory among the calculated exclusive accesses. The non-sharing target classifying unit determines an access data item that does not share a cache line with another access data item among the access data items that are accessed using the cache memories. The converting unit inserts a process that does not share the cache line into the source program based on the determination result of the non-sharing target classifying unit.

  • Publication number: 20120219473
Abstract: A sample rack 1 in which sample holding container 6 containing sample liquid is loaded and cooled via a cooling device 8 includes containing sections 40 adapted to receive the sample holding containers 6, and groove portions 11 disposed with inclination below the bottom surface of the containing section 40. The bottom surface of the containing section 40 communicates with the groove portion 11. The dew condensation water introduced into the groove portion 11 is discharged to the outside of the sample rack 1 via an opening portion 12 provided on the side surface of the sample rack 1. In this way, since the dew condensation water is forcibly discharged, workability encountered during removal of the sample rack and sample cooling capacity can be improved.

  • Publication number: 20100112439
Abstract: At least one organic molecular chain is strongly bonded to a surface of active material. By using a treated active material in which at least one organic molecular chain is strongly bonded to a surface of active material, it is possible to maintain a charge-discharge characteristic of a secondary battery or the like at a good level over a long period. A treated material 1 is obtained by chemically adsorbing organic molecular chains 5 onto a surface of active material 3. A bonding force between the active mass 3 and organic molecular chains 5 is 40-400 kJ/mol. In a case where the bonding force between the active material 3 and organic molecular chains 5 is 40-400 kJ/mol, when the treated active material 1 is used as an electrode active material of a secondary battery or the like, the charge-discharge characteristic of the secondary battery can be maintained at a good level over a long period.
