  • Publication number: 20020166438
Abstract: There is provided a musical tone generation control system which enables the user to obtain a feeling of operation as well as to obtain a feeling of satisfaction as if he or she were aggressively participating in performance or playback of a musical composition or the like. The musical tone generation control system has at least one operating terminal that can be carried by an operator. Each operating terminal detects a motion of the operating terminal caused by an operation of the operator, generates motion information based on the detected motion, and transmits the generated motion information to the musical tone generation control apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20020126014
Abstract: A tone generating system 100 has a motion detection terminal 11 and a tone producing device. The Motion detection terminal 11 has a motion sensor MS which is attached to the back of a hand, and transmitting unit 11a. The Motion sensor MS detects a torsional motion of the hand to which it is attached. The Transmitting unit 11a transmits motion information on the torsional motion. A Tone producing device 10 receives the motion information, generates control information based on the motion information, and produces a tone on the basis of the control information.

  • Patent number: 5493218
Abstract: A magnetic detecting apparatus including a magnetic sensor for detecting the displacement of a member which is detected by a variation in the voltage, a sampler for sampling the voltage detected by the magnetic sensor at the required period, and a voltage power supplier for supplying the required power supply voltage to the magnetic sensor only while the sampler samples the voltage.

  • Patent number: 5474395
Abstract: A connector which is convenient for use in connecting a cross board, a rod member to a vertical surface formed by a frame board, a wall. In a vertical section of the connector, in a longitudinal direction as an axial direction thereof, the connector is in the shape of a rectangle, a trapezoid, or a pentagon which is inclined on one side of an upper surface thereof. In a transverse direction, orthogonal to the longitudinal direction, the connector is formed generally in a wedge shape whose tip faces up. The bottom of the connector is in the shape of a trapezoid. A through-hole which permits insertion therein of a fixing member such as a screw or the like is formed in an axis portion extending in the longitudinal direction of the connector in a position eccentric to the axis portion.

  • Patent number: 4124640
Abstract: Alkoxyanilines are produced by reacting a hydroxyaniline having the formula ##STR1## with an alkyl halide having the formulaR -- Xwherein R represents an alkyl group and X represents a halogen atom in the presence of an alkali metal alcoholate or hydroxide in a nonprotonic organic solvent selected from the group consisting of N-dimethyl acetamide, tetramethyl urea, hexamethylphosphoric triamide, dimethyl sulfoxide and N-methylpyrrolidone or a polyalkyleneglycol alkyl ether having the formulaR'O (R"O).sub.n R'wherein R' represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and R" represents an alkylene group having 2 to 3 carbon atoms and n is an integer of 1 to 3.

  • Patent number: 3962831
Abstract: An automatic grinding apparatus for wood working comprising means for maintaining substantially constant the contact pressure between a grinding wheel and a material to be ground and the peripheral speed thereof irrespective of abrasion of the grinding wheel. The means for maintaining the contact force constant comprises a grinding wheel swinging means and a grinding wheel compensating means. The former includes a swing arm pivotally mounted on a slider for swinging movement and carrying rotatably a grinding wheel shaft at the free end, and a cylinder means for swinging the swing arm toward and away from the material. The latter includes a means for detecting the angular displacement of the swing arm due to abrasion of the grinding wheel and a slider moving means for advancing the slider toward the material until the swing arm restores to its initial angular position.
