  • Patent number: 7951315
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fiber for artificial hair. The PVC fiber is manufactured by melt spinning a PVC resin composition with a nozzle, wherein the nozzle has a nozzle hole having a diameter D and a land length L, and a nozzle leading portion having a cone angle, and wherein a ratio of L/D is 1-3, a height of the nozzle leading portion is at least 4 mm, and the cone angle is 20°-90°. The resulting PVC fiber has an arithmetic mean roughness of 0.18-0.38 ?m and a maximum height of 0.5-3.5 ?m along a longitudinal direction, specified by JIS B 0601.

  • Publication number: 20100180905
Abstract: [Problems] To provide a method of packing fiber for artificial hair, while suppressing generation of folding mark during packaging, transportation and storage and yet preserving preferable processability and hairdressing characteristics. [Means for Solving Problems] There is provided a method of packing fiber for artificial hair, characterized by packing the artificial hair fibers in a packaging container at a filling density of no lesser than 0.1 kg/l and no more than 0.8 kg/l. Further in the packing method, the pressure of the packed artificial hair fibers applied to the top face of the packaging container is adjusted to no lesser than 0.1 kPa and no more than 8.0 kPa.

  • Publication number: 20070009735
Abstract: The present invention is to provide a vinyl chloride fiber formed with a vinyl chloride resin composition containing (a) 100 parts by mass of a vinyl chloride resin, (b) 0.2-5.0 parts by mass of a hydrotalcite thermal stabilizer and (c) 0.2-10.0 parts by mass of a epoxy compound. The addition of (c) 0.2-10.0 parts by mass of the epoxy compound to the vinyl chloride resin composition improves a dispersion of the hydrotalcite thermal stabilizer so that a long-run and stable melt spinning is achieved. The vinyl chloride fiber manufactured shows a little color change when the fiber is curled at a curling process.
