  • Patent number: 9989032
Abstract: To alleviate or eliminate a problem of unburned fuel discharged to the outside of a cylinder in a case in which an air fuel mixture is insufficiently combusted in a combustion chamber. During the expansion stroke in which a high voltage is applied to an ignition plug via an ignition coil, and a spark discharge is caused to occur at the ignition plug, thereby the air fuel mixture in the combustion chamber is ignited and combusted, in a case in which deterioration of combustion state is detected, a microwave electric field is created in the combustion chamber prior to an opening timing of an exhaust valve at an end stage of the expansion stroke, thereby plasma is generated and enlarged in the combustion chamber.

  • Patent number: 9899326
Abstract: The reliability of a copper wire is improved without inhibiting the wiring resistance of the copper wire. For example, another metallic element segregates in the boundary region between a copper film CUF1 and a copper film CUF2, and at the upper side face part of a wiring gutter leading to the boundary region. In a sectional view, a metallic element having a reducing power higher than copper segregates at the inner part of the copper wire apart from both the surface of the copper wire and the bottom face of the wiring gutter and at the side face part of the copper wire. In a sectional view, a metallic element different from copper segregates in the vicinity of the center part of the copper wire and at the side face part of the copper wire.

  • Patent number: 9774241
Abstract: In a multilevel power conversion circuit, output harmonic waves and electromagnetic noise can be reduced as the number of output levels is increased. This, however, increases the number of elements constituting the circuit, causing the degree of difficulty in mounting to increase, cost to increase, and reliability to decrease. It is necessary to provide a circuit configuration, a design method, and a mounting method for obtaining, at low cost, a multilevel power conversion circuit using a large number of elements. A power conversion circuit is used as a unit module and is equipped with input and output terminals each mounted on the main circuit in an open state, wherein the input and output terminals have a mechanism by which the input and output terminals can be flexibly interconnected with the input and output terminals of another same module.

  • Patent number: 9636853
Abstract: There is provided a molded body including a main portion and a bank portion each of which is formed by foaming and molding a foam material. The main portion is made of urethane material which is softer than the material for the bank portion. At a boundary portion between the main and bank portions, the main portion is formed in a continuous interlocking profile and the bank portion is also formed in another continuous interlocking profile. The interlocking profile and the another interlocking profile are mated to each other so as to prevent separation between the main portion and the bank portion in a direction of an arrow (vehicle width direction). The boundary portion is provided by partitioning the cavity in a single mold with a weir, introducing different foam materials into both sides of the weir and foaming the introduced materials.
