  • Publication number: 20140224660
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for producing an electrocast belt which method ensures long-term use of an electrocasting bath and which method enables provision of an electrocast belt having a required product quality even when an electrocasting bath that has been used in electrolysis with a large cumulative amount of electricity. The method includes a first step of producing an electrocast belt having a required product quality in an electrocasting bath of a specific composition until a predetermined period of time has elapsed; a second step of subsequently producing an electrocast belt in the same electrocasting bath; and a third step of polishing a surface of the electrocast belt produced from the second step so that the electrocast belt produced from the third step has a product quality equivalent to that of the electrocast belt produced from the first step.

  • Publication number: 20110229748
Abstract: The current-collecting lead for being welded to a collector welded to an upper portion of an electrode group and also to a sealing assembly of an cylindrical secondary battery includes: a flat surface part welded to the collector, and a top part formed to be curved and protrude approximately in the shape of a dome from the flat surface part and welded to the sealing assembly. A central opening is formed at a central portion of the top part. Around the central opening, a plurality of welding projections are formed to protrude toward the sealing assembly. The welding projections serve as welding spots to the sealing assembly. The top part is deformed by a pressing force from the sealing assembly to be brought into surface contact with a corner portion of a convex portion formed on a lower surface of the sealing assembly.

  • Publication number: 20060280052
Abstract: The invention works in an environment where an optical disc, such as a CD, is inserted into an optical disc player. The disc typically has a label that is affixed to an upper surface of the disc. If the label is loose, for instance if a portion of the disc becomes raised toward the grill, the CD will become stuck since the raised label will not exit the opening in the grill. This obstructs the disc rollers and causes the motor to not be able to push the disc out of the player. The present invention senses this event and invokes an ejection routine to allow the raised label portion to be rotated to a position where it will not obstruct the slit in the grill or the roller.
