The method includes obtaining an execution path of an application which is currently operated in the information processing apparatus, and transferring the scanned data to the image reading apparatus by using the execution path.

Abstract: Replacement target image data and image data for replacement are stored, character images of the replacement target image data and character images of the image data for replacement are extracted, and character recognition is performed for each page on character strings contained in the extracted character images. Then, a comparison is performed for each page of the character strings of pages of the replacement target image data and the character strings of pages of the image data for replacement, which have undergone character recognition, and a degree of similarity therebetween is determined. Then, based on a determination result, at least a portion of pages of the replacement target image data is replaced with at least a portion of pages of the image data for replacement.

Abstract: An adhesive tape situated near an edge of a glass board with a protection film pasted on both surfaces thereof, and a stripping head that presses an adhesive surface of the adhesive tape toward the glass board, are provided. An actuator is provided that separates the adhesive tape adhering to the edge of protection film from the surface of the glass board and that strips a part of the protection film from the glass board. A film chuck device is provided that holds the stripped edge of the protection film, and the protection film held by the film chuck device is pulled off by driving the glass board by a roller conveyor.

Abstract: In an adhesive paper for copying prepared by laminating an overlying sheet with a release sheet so that an adhesive layer coated on the bottom surface of said overlying sheet is in contact with the releasing surface of said release sheet, the improvement comprising a radiation-induced polymer layer having a glass transition temperature ranging from 50.degree. to 200.degree. C., applied to at least one edge face of said adhesive paper for copying, said radiation-induced polymer layer being formed by applying a solvent free radiation polymerizable composition to said edge face followed by irradiation curing. The presence of the radiation-induced polymer layer prevents an adhesive from squeezing out. The polymer layer, because of its specific glass transition temperature, will not break and fall off. Thus a copying machine will not be contaminated with squeezed adhesive or broken and fallen polymer layer during copying.
