  • Patent number: 7154544
Abstract: An information processing device includes a shooting lens assembly, a photoelectric conversion element, a memory, a display screen, a zoom designation device and an image size changing device (e.g., a controller). The photoelectric conversion element receives light from an object that is collected by the shooting lens assembly and converts the collected light into electrical signals representative of the object. The memory stores image data that is representative of objects. The display screen displays images of the object corresponding to the electrical signal converted by the photoelectric conversion element or images corresponding to the image data stored in the memory. The image size changing device magnifies or reduces an image size of the image displayed on the display screen regardless of whether the image is being supplied from the photoelectric conversion element or the memory.

  • Publication number: 20060238609
Abstract: An electronic camera connected through a communication line to another electronic camera records an image that was transmitted from the other camera. When the electronic camera is connected to a public line from a modular jack, when a shooting lens faces opposite to a surface where an LCD is formed, the image of the user which was input by a CCD is transmitted to the other camera through the public line and is displayed on the LCD of the other camera. Furthermore, the user image from the other camera is transmitted and displayed on the first camera. When a release switch to shoot an object is operated, the displayed image is recorded. When a rotating part containing the shooting part is rotated by either camera, the image input by the rotating camera is displayed on both electronic cameras. When the release button is pressed, the input image is recorded.

  • Publication number: 20060209344
Abstract: An image is shot by an electronic camera using a convenient operation. Shot images are recorded into a directory corresponding to a user by shooting date and/or event. When a print-out mode is selected, a plurality of thumbnail images are displayed on the camera display, and when a single click is made by an undepicted pen on a specified thumbnail image, the display color of the thumbnail image is changed. Furthermore, when another click is subsequently made, the display color of all the thumbnail images included in the same event as that of the first designated thumbnail image is changed. Subsequently, when another click is made, the display color of all the thumbnail images of the same shooting date is changed, and when another click is subsequently made, the display color of all the thumbnail images included in the same directory is changed. Furthermore, on a specified display screen, when an execution key is pressed, the thumbnail images of which the display color is changed are printed.

  • Publication number: 20060133773
Abstract: An image storage for storing digital still image data is connected to a television set for selectively watching a broadcast program in a first mode or a still image transmitted from the image storage in a second mode. The image storage has an input circuit for receiving a control signal form the television set and an output circuit for transmitting a still image signal to the television set on the basis of the digital still image data, the output circuit being responsive to the control signal. The television set, on the other hand, has an output circuit for transmitting the control signal to the image storage. By means of the control signal, the image storage is automatically turned on or off when the television set is turned on or off, respectively. The control signal makes image storage operative or inoperative when the television set is in the second mode or in the first mode, respectively, to save power consumption with the television set in the first mode.

  • Publication number: 20060114339
Abstract: An image storage includes a built-in memory having large capacity for storing plural image data taken by a digital camera. A digital circuit retrieves desired one of the image data from the built-in memory. A connector electrically connects with the digital camera for data transmission. A detector detects the connection of the digital camera to the connector. A controller causes the image storage to receive the image data transmitted from the digital camera through the connector to store that data in the built-in memory in response to detection of the connection by the detector. The controller can transmit a signal to the digital camera to delete the image data that has been transmitted to and stored in the built-in memory. The signal is effective to forcibly delete the image data from the digital camera even if the image data is protected against deletion according to a digital camera setting.
