  • Patent number: 9858293
Abstract: The feature amount of each pixel of an image is received. If the frequency value of the feature amount is registered in the second memory accessible at higher speed than the first memory which stores frequency values of respective feature amounts, the frequency value in the second memory is increased. If the frequency value is not registered, the frequency value is read out from the first memory into the second memory, and increased. With this processing, a histogram of the feature amounts of the respective pixels of the image is generated. The bins of the histogram are rearranged so that bins with high frequency values are close to each other in the histogram.

  • Patent number: 9714829
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes an irradiation unit to irradiate a measurement target with a measurement pattern for distance measurement. An imaging unit obtains a captured image including the irradiated measurement target. A first detection unit detects first and second regions from the captured image. The first region includes a first portion of the measurement target that reflects a greater amount of light toward the imaging unit. The second region includes a second portion of the measurement target that reflects a lesser amount of light toward the imaging unit. A second detection unit detects, from the measurement pattern, a first region with which the first portion is irradiated and a second region with which the second portion is irradiated. A generation unit generates a measurement pattern that has different amounts of irradiation light depending on regions. A distance to the measurement target is derived using an obtained captured image.

  • Patent number: 9196972
Abstract: A crimp terminal includes a crimp barrel to be crimped around a conductive core of a cable. The crimp barrel includes an inner surface which is formed with a plurality of cavities independent of one another. Each of the cavities has a predetermined shape in a plane perpendicular to a depth direction of the cavity. The predetermined shape contains a plurality of straight-line segments. Every one of the straight-line segments of the predetermined shape is not parallel with remaining ones of the straight-line segments of the predetermined shape. The straight-line segments of the predetermined shape includes at least one pair of the straight-line segments, which are closest to each other among the straight-line segments of the predetermined shape and are arranged to make an interior angle less than 90 degrees or, if not intersecting each other, are arranged on two straight lines, respectively, wherein the two straight lines make an interior angle less than 90 degrees.

  • Patent number: 8764496
Abstract: Provided is a technique for improving connection reliability. A contact part that contacts with a detecting male contact is formed in a detecting collision spring piece. The detecting male contact includes a contact surface that contacts with the contact part. The detecting collision spring piece is elastically deformed in advance so that a gap is formed between the contact part and the contact surface when the contact part is opposed to the contact surface in a height direction. When an elastic deformation force that elastically deforms the detecting collision spring piece is released, the contact part contacts with the contact surface with collision against the contact surface due to a spring restoring force of the detecting collision spring piece. A locus of the contact part just before the contact part collides with the contact surface is oblique with respect to the contact surface when seen from a mate direction.
