  • Patent number: 6488279
Abstract: The invention provides a discharge mechanism of a sheet which can quickly and securely discharge a sheet without deformation. A discharge mechanism is provided at an end of a transfer path and discharging the paper to a tray is constituted by a pair of discharge rollers and a profiling pusher integrally rotating with the discharge roller. A sponge-like body portion and a plurality of projections, integrally formed on a peripheral surface thereof, are formed in the profiling pusher. The protrusion is brought into contact with a surface of the sheet and deformed in a profiling manner so as to allow the sheet to pass therethrough. When the rear end of the sheet leaves the nip, the deformation of the projection is restored and engaged with the rear end of the sheet, thereby forcibly pushing out the sheet.

  • Patent number: 5432312
Abstract: A push-lock device has a damper mechanism 9 which includes a strip body 17; protruding portions 14, 16; a protruding portion 26; and a rubber ring 23. The strip body 17 is arranged in the moving direction of the sliding body 4 housed in the case 2 and has a meandering groove 22 formed therein. The protruding portions 14, 16 support rotatably the ends of the strip body 17. The protruding portion 26 is arranged to the sliding body 4 and engages to the meandering groove 22. The rubber ring 23 is arranged between the base 2b of the case 2 and one end of the strip body 17. The damper mechanism 9 can brake the movement of the sliding body 4 to prevent the sliding body from returning quickly from the locking position. The shock noise of the sliding body is reduced and the knob can be prevented from slipping out from the operating shaft.
