    Abstract: A thermoplastic resin composition having deodorizing properties, which is obtained by adding to a thermoplastic resin from 0.5 to 100% by weight of fine powders of ferrous sulfate having a total content of crystal water and free water of not more than 20% by weight or fine powders of aluminum sulfate, potassium aluminum sulfate, sodium aluminum sulfate or zinc sulfate having a total content of crystal water and free water of not more than 5% by weight, and kneading the mixture and/or molding the mixture. The composition can be processed at high temperatures and does not undergo color change with time.
