  • Publication number: 20240128294
Abstract: An image reading device includes a plurality of light receiving parts arrayed regularly, a first light blocking member including a plurality of first openings arrayed corresponding respectively to the plurality of light receiving parts, and a plurality of microlenses arrayed corresponding respectively to the plurality of first openings. Each light receiving part included in the plurality of light receiving parts includes a plurality of light receiving pixels arrayed in a first direction as a main scanning direction. Each microlens included in the plurality of microlenses is object side telecentric. The plurality of microlenses, the first light blocking member and the plurality of light receiving parts are arranged so that light reflected by an object and passing through the microlens and the first opening corresponding to the microlens enters the plurality of light receiving pixels included in the light receiving part corresponding to the first opening.

  • Patent number: 6473150
Abstract: It is an object of the invention to provide a liquid crystal display apparatus capable of reducing the difference in temperature rise between liquid crystal panels and polarizers for respective colors, suppressing a temperature rise, and reducing noise caused by a fan. The liquid crystal display apparatus includes a hermetic container, and liquid crystal display sections for respective colors, namely, red, green and blue, each including a liquid crystal panel and polarizers. A cooling fan for blue sends cooling air to the liquid crystal display section for blue. A cooling fan for green and red sends cooling air to the liquid crystal display sections for green and red.

  • Patent number: 6402799
Abstract: A compact vortex-stream gas-liquid separator, and a gas-liquid separation system employing it, offers high gas-liquid separation performance with minimal pressure loss. A substantially cylindrical casing (10) is arranged with its axis lying horizontally. The casing has a fluid passage (1) formed therein, has a fluid inlet (2) provided at one end, and has a gas outlet (3) and a liquid outlet (4) provided at the other end so as to constitute as a whole a vortex-stream gas-liquid separator (9). The fluid inlet is arranged along a line tangential to the casing so that the gas-liquid two-phase fluid passes through the fluid passage in the form of a vortex stream. The gas outlet is arranged so as to be coaxial with the casing. This vortex-stream gas-liquid separator and the gas-liquid separation system (30) employing it are used in a clothes dryer or air conditioner to remove water droplets from air.

  • Patent number: 5076070
Abstract: A fan device for a refrigerator includes a hollow wall having a front wall portion and a rear wall portion for dividing an interior space of the refrigerator into a heat exchanging zone and a first portion of a storage zone. An air suction opening is formed in the rear wall portion for allowing an air cooled in the heat exchanging zone to be induced into the hollow wall. A fan is disposed in alignment with the air suction opening so as to induce the cooled air. A plurality of forward air outlet slots are formed in the front wall portion for allowing the air in the hollow wall to be blown to the first portion of the storage zone. A rearward air outlet is formed in the rear wall portion for allowing the air in the hollow wall to be blown to a second portion of the storage zone through a duct communicating the rearward air outlet to the second portion.
