  • Patent number: 7542658
Abstract: Contents reserved to be recorded by a user manually operating a switch unit are stored in an EPG/reservation information memory as first reservation information. A CPU having acquired EPG data by a TV unit or a communication interface stores the acquired EPG data in the memory. By referring to the stored EPG data, program information corresponding to the stored first reservation information is extracted, and an ID of the extracted program information is added to the first reservation information. Therefore, the subsequent change of a broadcast schedule is made by referring to the EPG data to be acquired later. Even if a manual reservation is made, the user can reliably view or record a program desired to be reserved.

  • Publication number: 20090124295
Abstract: When an instruction to change the display size of the content of a 1-segment broadcast received by a television broadcast communication unit is given while the content is being displayed on a display screen, and if it is possible to receive the content of a 12-segment broadcast continuously to the content of the 1-segment broadcast, a CPU switches to receiving the 12-segment broadcast and displays the broadcast content in the standard display size (second display size) of the 12-segment broadcast. If it is not possible to receive the 12-segment broadcast continuously to the 1-segment broadcast, the CPU displays the content of the 1-segment broadcast by changing it to the second display size.

  • Patent number: 7516278
Abstract: A system controller, which executes a speculative fetch from a memory before determining whether data requested for a memory fetch request is in a cache by searching tag information of the cache, includes a consumption determining unit that monitors a consumption status of a hardware resource used in the speculative fetch, and determines whether a consumption of the hardware resource exceeds a predetermined value; and a speculative-fetch issuing unit that stops issuing the speculative fetch when the consumption determining unit determines that the consumption of the hardware resource exceeds the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 7515980
Abstract: A controller of a handy terminal such as a cellular phone determines whether a headphone is connected or not when discriminating that reproduction output of sound data ends. With the headphone connected, the controller stores an end time in a time memory. When reproduction output of sound data is necessary, the controller determines whether or not a predetermined time has passed after the stored end time. When the controller detects that the predetermined time has passed, the controller changes the output destination of sound data from the headphone to a speaker for generation of a sound therefrom.

  • Publication number: 20090047843
Abstract: [Object] To provide a spiral contactor that has a spiral-shaped elastic arm having a stable elastic function and less unevenness, and is easy to manufacture. [Solving Means] An elastic arm 3 composed of an electrically conductive material such as copper or the like is formed in a spiral shape from a base end 4 substantially up to spiral end normal O? and the portion forward thereof is sharply bent so that a tip 5 is located substantially in the center. The elastic arm 3 can elastically deform in a long range and exert a stable elastic force. Additionally, this spiral contactor is easily manufactured by an etching process or the like, as a wide space is formed between elastic arm portions of a spiral shape.

  • Publication number: 20080270419
Abstract: Provided that use environment conditions (types of access points) fit for using a telephone directory (user use information) are stored and managed in a condition table in association with the telephone directory, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) activates a wireless LAN module at the time of opening the telephone directory, and determines whether a portable terminal device lies within a wireless LAN or a hot spot based on whether wireless communication with an access point present nearby has been established. When the portable terminal device lies within the wireless LAN or the hot spot, the CPU accesses and outputs the telephone directory associated therewith.
