  • Publication number: 20090110217
Abstract: A digital/analog conversion apparatus for converting a digital signal into an analog signal. The digital/analog conversion apparatus can generate a high-quality analog signal, even when elements configuring the digital/analog conversion apparatus have variance, with high resolution and a small circuit size. The data conversion apparatus is provided with a first data converter for reducing the number of bits of an input signal, a second data converter for converting the format of the first output signal, and a third data converter for conversion into a code which corresponds to the history of the output from the second data converter.

  • Publication number: 20070024364
Abstract: An amplifier having an increased the upper limit on the amplitude of an audio signal generated between one common terminal and the output terminals of left and right channels without raising the power supply voltage. The level at common terminal C is changed corresponding to the average of the input audio signals (ViL, ViR) to increase the amplitudes of the output audio signals (VL, VR). In this way, the amplitudes of audio signals (VL, VR) supplied to the headphone can be increased compared with the case when the level at terminal C is kept constant. Also, the upper limit on the amplitudes of audio signals (VL, VR) can be increased without raising the power supply voltage.

  • Patent number: 6967503
Abstract: A comparator compares a first binary input signal and a second binary input signal each binalized. A generator generates a reset signal at each rising edge or each falling edge of the first input signal. A counter counts the second input signal at each timing determined by the reset signal. The counted value represents a ratio of each frequency of the first input signal and the second input signal. A subtractor calculates a difference between the counted value and a set value representing a predetermined ratio of each frequency of the first input signal and the second input signal. An integrator integrates the difference. The integrated value represents a phase difference of the frequencies of the first input signal and the second input signal.

  • Patent number: 6516180
Abstract: An image forming apparatus such as a printer and a copier has rotating devices such as a drum and a press roller to print an image on a paper sheet while rotating and a paper-transporting mechanism having guide rollers and timing rollers for transporting a paper sheet to these rotary devices, controlled by a control device such that irregularities in the printed images due to fluctuations in the speed of transportation of the paper sheets. The guide rollers may be operated to transport the paper sheet at a faster speed than the paper sheet is transported by the rotary devices such that the paper sheet becomes bent before being delivered to the rotary devices to be printed on. The control may be such that the guide rollers transport the paper sheet while the timing rollers downstream is released from the transportation of paper sheets. The control device may also operate so as to stop the guide rollers when the paper sheet comes to a position where the rotary devices can start transporting it.

  • Patent number: 6320529
Abstract: A subtraction section subtracts a first signal from a second signal as a harmonic signal and outputs a third signal as a subtraction result. A first conversion section converts the third signal into a digital signal of predetermined frequency different from a frequency of the second signal. A second conversion section converts the digital signal into an analog signal of a frequency nearly equal to the frequency of the second signal and supplies the analog signal as the first signal to the subtraction section. The second conversion section includes a plurality of conversion elements, a filter to calculate a number of use of each of the plurality of conversion elements, and a selector to select, the conversion elements having a lower value of the number of use. The number of conversion elements selected corresponds to the value of the digital signal.

  • Patent number: 6181740
Abstract: A sampling system arranged such that a modulated signal received by an antenna and input via a low noise amplifier and a band-pass filter is sampled at a sampling frequency higher than the signal band of the modulated signal by a first sample and hold circuit and is input to an analog decimation filter to remove a frequency component which may turn out to be aliasing noise. The output of the analog decimation filter is sampled with a sampling frequency lower than the sampling frequency of the first sample and hold circuit by a second sample and hold circuit and is digitized by an A/D converter to be demodulated by a demodulator. The sampling system which can convert the modulated signal into a low frequency without using the highly precision mixer circuit or a filter having sharp characteristics may be provided by constructing as described above.
