  • Publication number: 20160191113
Abstract: In some embodiments, a terminal-to-terminal network may include one or more terminals each configured to receive a timing reference signal. The one or more terminals may be Base Station further configured to select a timing offset relative to a periodic transmission frame of the terminal-to-terminal network. The timing offset may be associated with a time relative to the periodic transmission frame at which a timing synchronization signal is broadcast. The timing synchronization signal may be based at least in part on the timing reference signal. The one or more terminals may be further configured to select a timing synchronization signal transmission rate. The one or more terminals may be further configured to broadcast the timing synchronization signal at the timing offset and at the timing synchronization signal transmission rate.

  • Publication number: 20150079974
Abstract: A method and system for iterative fair channel assignment may orthogonally assign K channels to N wireless networks such that neighbor networks operate over different frequencies. The iterative fair channel assignment may include an orthogonal channel assignment that may not only assign a fair share of spectrum to each network but may also increase the spectrum re-use by assigning channels to as many networks as possible.

  • Patent number: 8203188
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed to increase a breakdown voltage of a semiconductor device. The semiconductor device includes a first heavily doped region to represent a source region. A second heavily doped region represents a drain region of the semiconductor device. A third heavily doped region represents a gate region of the semiconductor device. The semiconductor device includes a gate oxide positioned between the source region and the drain region, below the gate region. The semiconductor device uses a split gate oxide architecture to form the gate oxide. The gate oxide includes a first gate oxide having a first thickness and a second gate oxide having a second thickness.

  • Patent number: 4028481
Abstract: In the polymerization of .alpha.-olefins, a titanium trichloride containing catalyst activated by copulverization with at least one additive selected fromI. an organic compound containing oxygen, sulfur or phosphorus such as:A. Organic oxygen compounds selected from ethers, ketones and esters;B. Organic sulfur compounds selected from thioethers, thiophenols and thioalcohols; andC. Organic phosphorus compounds.Ii. an organic compound of (I) containing oxygen, sulfur or phosphorus in combination with an aluminum halide, andIii. a complex or reaction product of an organic compound of (I) with an aluminum halide.Provides substantially improved catalytic activity and reduces amorphous polymeric by-products while enhancing stereoregularity. The catalytic activity of these catalysts is further enhanced by washing with an organic solvent subsequent to copulverization to remove excess additive. Preferred catalysts are those which contain aluminum chloride with the titanium trichloride.
