Patent number: 8335086Abstract: A top panel, which is disposed to face a module board with an electronic component therebetween, includes a resin layer and a metal layer, and has an insulating characteristic. The metal layer includes a metal layer formed at a front side of the resin layer and a metal layer formed at a rear side of the resin layer. With this structure, in reflow soldering performed in mounting a semiconductor module on a main board, warp which is caused, under temperature change, in the top panel due to difference in coefficient of thermal expansion between the resin layer and the metal layer formed at the front side of the resin layer is cancelled by warp which is caused, under temperature change, in the top panel due to difference in coefficient of thermal expansion between the resin layer and the metal layer formed at the rear side of the resin layer, whereby warp of the top panel is eliminated.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2010Date of Patent: December 18, 2012Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Masahiro Murakami, Masahiko Kushino, Akiteru Deguchi, Yoshihisa Amano

Patent number: 7665104Abstract: In a conventional content transmission system, there has been a problem that it takes a long time from when a user, who tries to start viewing and listening of content, issues a command to a receiver by using a remote controller or the like until when the user can actually view and listen to the content from content viewing and listening equipment (content starting time). To this end, a content transmission system according to the present invention has a transmitter and a receiver including a human sensor and has a configuration that the state of the receiver is changed corresponding to a detection result of the human sensor so as to reduce the content starting time and power consumption.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2006Date of Patent: February 16, 2010Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Atsushi Maehara, Akiteru Deguchi, Hitoshi Azuma

Patent number: 7620422Abstract: A wireless transmission system for transmitting a picture data between a transmitter and a receiver by wireless communication is provided. Each of the receiver and the transmitter is equipped with a directional antenna and a non-directional antenna. A communication of the picture data is performed by using the directional antennas, and a communication of a control data indicating a reception status of the picture data is performed by using the non-directional antennas. The transmitter controls an intensity of a signal radiated from the directional antenna of the transmitter based on the control data so that the intensity becomes a minimum intensity that can transmit the picture data.Type: GrantFiled: June 30, 2006Date of Patent: November 17, 2009Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Kenichi Kumano, Akiteru Deguchi

Patent number: 7406129Abstract: A data transmission apparatus transmits data signals “S1” and “S2” containing identical serial data “ds” in two frequency bands, and a data reception apparatus receives those data signals “S1” and “S2.” Parallel data “dpl” and “dpl2” obtained from the data signals “S1” and “S2” is subjected to selection or synthesis in a subcarrier selection/demodulation circuit so as to be demodulated into serial data “dsx,” which is then outputted to a MAC section.Type: GrantFiled: April 14, 2004Date of Patent: July 29, 2008Assignee: Sharp Kabushiki KaishaInventors: Shikio Yoshida, Akiteru Deguchi

Publication number: 20040215769Abstract: In a display device, when an application operating section is to communicate, each communication state detecting section detects a communication state of each radio communication section. A physical layer selecting section then determines if each physical layer is capable of providing an effective throughput required by each application operating section by each radio communications section. Furthermore, the physical layer selecting section selects from the physical layers a physical layer available for communications of each application operating section.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 22, 2004Publication date: October 28, 2004Inventors: Shikio Yoshida, Toru Ueda, Akiteru Deguchi

Publication number: 20040203537Abstract: A wireless transmission/reception card has a pole-shaped antenna for wireless transmission and reception, and the length direction of the antenna is substantially parallel to the main faces of the card. A headset has a slot in which the wireless transmission/reception card is inserted, and, when the card is inserted in the slot, the pole-shaped antenna of the card is set upright substantially in the vertical direction in the normal use state of the headset. The wireless transmission/reception card excels in portability, and, when inserted in the slot of the headset, helps enhance the antenna gain in the horizontal plane in the normal use state.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 14, 2004Publication date: October 14, 2004Inventors: Shikio Yoshida, Akiteru Deguchi
