  • Publication number: 20240166877
Abstract: Provided is a curable silicone composition which exhibits a practically effective pot life, is curable at a low temperature, and which can be used to form a cured product that has superior surface smoothness, is transparent, and has high hardness. This curable silicone composition contains: (A) a resinous alkenyl group-containing organopolysiloxane having, per molecule, at least two alkenyl groups and at least one aryl group; (B) a resinous organohydrogenpolysiloxane having, in one molecule, at least two hydrogen atoms bonded to silicon atoms; (C) a molecular chain side chain polyether-modified organopolysiloxane, a phenyl-modified organopolysiloxane, a non-terminal hydroxyl group-containing dimethyl polysiloxane that does not contain an aryl group, and a phenolic antioxidant, as well as an adhesive that has a wettability improvement effect and is selected from a combination of these; and (D) a curing reaction inhibitor.

  • Publication number: 20230141217
Abstract: A depressurized multilayer glass panel 10 includes: a first glass plate 11; a second glass plate 12; a sealing portion forming an air gap portion 13 sealed in a depressurized state between the first glass plate 11 and the second glass plate 12; and a plurality of columns 16 disposed between the first glass plate 11 and the second glass plate 12, each column 16 including contact surfaces 21 in contact with facing surfaces 17, 18 of the first glass plate 11 and the second glass plate 12, and non-contact portion 23 provided around the contact surface 21 and spaced apart from the facing surfaces 17, 18 of the first glass plate 11 and the second glass plate 12, wherein the non-contact portion 23 is configured such that when the facing first glass plate 11 or second glass plate 12 is deformed by being subjected to a first external force, at least a part of the non-contact portion 23 is contactable with the deformed first glass plate 11 or second glass plate 12.

  • Publication number: 20220090438
Abstract: High-strength vacuum glass is provided. The vacuum glass includes an air-cooled tempered first glass plate; an air-cooled tempered second glass plate that faces the first glass plate via a depressurized layer; and an outer peripheral sealing portion joining an outer peripheral edge portion of the first glass plate and an outer peripheral edge portion of the second glass plate together so as to seal the depressurized layer. The outer peripheral sealing portion contains solder.

  • Publication number: 20050185887
Abstract: An optical fiber collimator adaptable for light in a significantly expanded wavelength band. A fiber chip includes a single mode optical fiber held in a capillary. A gradient index rod lens and the fiber chip are retained in a glass sleeve. The rod lens, which is optically coupled to the fiber chip, converts light emitted from the optical fiber to a collimated beam. Alignment of the rod lens and the optical fiber is performed with light having a wavelength in a range of 1450 to 1600 nm so that the wavelength dependent loss of the optical fiber collimator is 0.15 dB or less in a wavelength range of 1250 to 1650 nm.
