[MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] A control means (61) calls the article map of an article (D) to be delivered by a dispensing means (3) and the container map of a container (5) containing the article (D) from a storage means (64). A free area is found by searching respective container virtual areas of the container map in a predetermined order. Furthermore, the dispensing position of the article is specified according to the article map and drive control of the dispensing means (3) is carried out according to the specified dispensing position, thus putting the article (D) in the container.

Abstract: The present invention provided a tray discharge apparatus which is capable to automatically discharge and store trays with medicine contained in the cart and align the carts. The apparatus comprises: a cart standby portion 13 for putting a cart 8 transported from a cart supply line 48 on standby; a tray supply portion 14 having a tray shift unit 21 for sequentially storing trays 7 with medicine contained in each of storage areas 46 of the cart 8 transported from the cart standby portion 13, the tray supply portion 14 aligning the carts 8 with the trays 7 stored against a tray discharge line 49 juxtaposed with the tray supply line 48; and a cart shift member 15 for moving the cart 8 to the tray supply portion 14 from the cart standby portion 13.

Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide an elongated object measurement apparatus capable of measuring the length or quantity of elongated objects such as drugs arranged in a row, regardless of their size or type. One end of the elongated object is positioned with a first reference member and the other end thereof is positioned with a second reference member. The apparatus comprises a resistance circuit constituted by a plurality of resistors connected in series, wherein the resistor at one end is connected to a constant voltage source and the resistor at the other end is connected to the ground, a detection circuit comprising a plurality of switches disposed with uniform spacing along the elongated object and having one end thereof connected between the adjacent resistors and the other end thereof connected to a detection terminal, and a switch drive unit provided at the second reference member and turning the switches on.

In the apparatus, the following restoring process is executed. After the apparatus is stopped due to abnormality, the tablets remaining in the guide paths 31 and the tablets conveyor means 27 are conveyed to the tablet packing section 4 by the tablets conveyor means 27 to recover them into the tablet vessel 11 and then the tablet vessel 11 is transferred to the container chamber 6 of the storage shelves 1.
