  • Patent number: 8582024
Abstract: A dome camera (1) includes a lens unit (5) having an adjustable lens focal point, a dome cover (4) for covering the lens unit (5), and a pseudo-cover (7) having optically equivalent characteristics to those of the dome cover (4). The pseudo-cover (7) is capable of rotating around a rotation axis which is set at the lens unit (5) from a lens focal point adjusting position which is set on an optical axis of the lens unit (5) toward a retraction position which is back from the optical axis of the lens unit (5). At the time of lens focal point adjustment work, the lens focal point is adjusted while the pseudo-cover (7) is set at the lens focal point adjusting position. When the lens focal point adjustment work ends, the pseudo-cover (7) is rotated to the retraction position to retract from the optical axis of the lens unit (5), and the dome cover (4) is put over the lens unit (5).

  • Patent number: 8068806
Abstract: A portable terminal apparatus where a talking can be speedily switched to that using a bone conduction speaker even in the talking. In this device, an upper housing (101) has a cutout section (106) for clearing a step section (103). Installation sections (107) are arranged so as to set the cutout section (106) between them and are combined with a hinge provided in the step section (103). The upper housing (101) can be pivoted and folded relative to a lower housing (102). The lower housing (102) has a keypad (110) and also has the step section (103) formed higher by one step than a panel surface (112) of the lower housing (102). The step section (103) receives a bone conduction speaker (104) and has at its top section a vibration surface (105).

  • Patent number: 7976782
Abstract: A folding type portable telephone in which a first housing and a second housing are fixed by a hinge includes a face panel fixed to the first housing and aromatic substances are accommodated inside the face panel. When the hinge is rotated, the aromatic substances are released in conjunction with the operation of opening the folding type portable telephone from the closed state. Furthermore, a sounding body is operated at a frequency of strongly generating an air vibration at a time defined in advance by timer control, so that fragrance of the aromatic substances is released outward by the air vibration of the sounding body. The fragrance corresponding to TPO can be generated from the face panel of the portable telephone.

  • Patent number: 5070734
Abstract: An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus comprises at least one piezoelectric transducer which is moved in a scanning process. A first transmission signal and a second transmission signal are different from each other. One of the first and second transmission signals is selectively applied to the transducer. The transducer converts the applied one of the first and second transmission signals into a beam of corresponding ultrasonic wave. The transducer emits the ultrasonic wave beam toward an examined body and receives an echo of the ultrasonic wave beam from the examined body. The transducer converts the received echo into a corresponding received signal. A first signal processor and a second signal processor have different characteristics. The received signal is selectively applied to one of the first and second signal processors to be processed thereby. A sectional image of the examined body is generated on the basis of an output signal from one of the first and second signal processors.
