  • Publication number: 20180087149
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to obtain a protective film having a segmented structure that is stable in terms of strength and that prevents the destruction or damage of a groove structure due to load deformation stress from outside and inside forces, by means of, in particular, a structure that connects a side surface of a groove to the bottom section of the groove and a structure of the bottom section of the groove.

  • Patent number: 5796580
Abstract: An air-cooled information processing apparatus has a plurality of units and a casing accommodating the units. At least one cooling air supply section and at least one cooling air discharge section are provided in the casing, for supplying cooling air into the apparatus and for discharging the air therefrom. A partition member divides the space inside the casing so as to define at least two cooling air flow channels between the cooling air supply section and the cooling air discharge section. At least one main fan unit is disposed in each of the cooling air flow channels. The cooling air flow channels include at least one first cooling air flow channel in which at least two units from among the plurality of units are disposed in parallel with each other with respect to the direction of flow of cooling air, and at least one second cooling air flow channel in which at least two units from among the plurality of units are arranged in series to each other along the flow of cooling air.

  • Patent number: 5584369
Abstract: A low noise current collector 20 having excellent controllability and response, and a high speed railway train using such current collectors. The current collector 20 includes an aerodynamically shaped current collector head 22, a driving cylinder 32 to move the current collecting head, a supporting insulator 30, and a cable head 50 supporting a conductor 53 for conducting current from current collecting head 22 to a load. The current collector 20 is controlled by a cylinder 7 for raising and lowering so that the current collector may be contained in a dome 4 when it is in use. A multi-car train has four current collectors, two toward each end, and each current collector has its front side directed toward the center of the train. The two current collectors at the rear of the train are utilized, while the two at the front are contained within their domes 4. Therefore, the train can run in either direction, utilizing the appropriate pair of current collectors.

  • Patent number: 5566800
Abstract: A current collector for a railway trolley vehicle includes a current collecting member having a contact strip, a driving system for moving the current collecting member into and out of contact with a trolley wire, a load cell for detecting force acting between the current collecting member and the driving system, a displacement meter for detecting displacement of the driving system, first and second estimating circuits, and a control circuit. The first estimating circuit provides an estimated value of the contact force between the current collector and the trolley wire by estimating values of first parameters of the contact strip, the current collecting member, and the trolley wire and summing products of each of these values and a corresponding weighting factor.

  • Patent number: 5531301
Abstract: The invention relates to a current collector for an electrically powered vehicle. The collector includes a current collecting member which collects current from a current supplying body and conducts the current to a load in the vehicle. The current collecting member is coupled to a driving system through a first insulating element. The driving system moves the current collecting member to the current supplying body. A sensor for controlling the driving system is positioned between the driving system and the insulating element.

  • Patent number: 5497866
Abstract: A current collecting apparatus provided with sliders 2 for collecting electric power from a power feeder 1, a current collector 3 for collecting power, an insulator for insulating and supporting the current collector 3, and a flexible conductor for delivering the power collected by the current collector 3 to a conductor 5, which is connected to the flexible conductor and used for supplying the power to the vehicle side. The conductor 5 and the insulator 4 are disposed so that the former is offset with respect to the latter in the crosswise direction of a railway vehicle. With this arrangement, aerodynamic noise emanating from the current collector loaded on the vehicle running at high speed can be substantially reduced.
