Abstract: An input device includes a housing; an invertible spring provided inside the housing; a load sensor arranged alongside the invertible spring inside the housing; a stem extending across a top portion of the invertible spring and the load sensor, and configured to push both the top portion of the invertible spring and the load sensor in response to an operating load applied to the stem; and a first fixed contact provided inside the housing, wherein the stem is a conductive member, and in response to the operating load applied to the stem, the stem pushes both the top portion of the invertible spring and the load sensor, and also comes into contact with the first fixed contact so that the first fixed contact is energized via the stem.

Abstract: A switch includes a housing and a metal terminal that is insert-molded into the housing. The metal terminal includes a contact portion provided on a first side of the metal terminal, an external connection portion provided on a second side of the metal terminal, and an embedded portion provided between the contact portion and the external connection portion and embedded in the housing. In the embedded portion, groove portions are formed in a front surface of the metal terminal and a rear surface of the metal terminal, the groove portions in the front surface being formed at positions different from the groove portions in the rear surface. The groove portions extend in a widthwise direction that is a direction intersecting an extending direction of the embedded portion.

The movable contact has a dome shape and is disposed below the pressing member. The interposed member is disposed between the pressing member and the movable contact, and is configured to press the movable contact by receiving and being pressed by the lower end portion of the peripheral wall portion of the pressing member. The lower end portion of the peripheral wall portion of the pressing member presses the interposed member while the peripheral wall portion is subjected to elastic deformation in response to the pressing portion being pressed.
