Abstract: A digital payments platform allows users to approve and execute digital payment transactions using a mobile wallet application executing on a registered mobile device. Users initiate transactions on a website of a participating online merchant, at a point-of-sale of a participating physical merchant, or within a participating third-party mobile application. For each such payment transaction, a user receives a transaction approval request on the registered mobile device. The user can review the transaction request and approve it by performing a single action (such as a button press).
