  • Patent number: 10332176
Abstract: Disclosed are a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for digital inventories. An application interface module receives a request message from a user device at a physical store location linked to an online marketplace. The request message indicates a request to determine availability of a target item at the physical store location. The user device is linked to a user. In response to the request message, a database management module accesses inventory data of the online marketplace. An inventory engine determines whether the target item is available at the physical store location. Based on a determination that the target item is not available at the target store, a graphics processing module generates a digital representation of the user and the target item for display within a user interface rendered on the user device.

  • Patent number: 10325309
Abstract: A device may determine its location within a store and display the location on a map of the store. A user may provide a shopping list to the device. The device may then display the location of desired items on the map of the store. When an item is located in multiple locations, the device may display one or more of the locations for the item. The device may suggest a route through the store by which the user can find all of the items on the shopping list. The device may recommend products to the user based on items near the device, items on the shopping list, or items identified by the user. The device may have the ability to identify items. The device may communicate with the server to gather information about an identified item.

  • Publication number: 20160078399
Abstract: A temporary warehouse environment includes various platforms for locating, establishing, and operating one or more temporary houses. A temporary warehouse locator identifies potential geographic locations for one or more temporary warehouses based on prior transactions conducted by a merchant and predicted transactions or operating expenditures. The identified geographic locations may then be leveraged by a temporary warehouse marketplace, which connects the merchant with owners and/or operators of available property in the identified geographic locations. A temporary warehouse recruiter further connects the merchant with potential employees for maintain and operating the temporary warehouse and includes various mechanisms by which the merchant may identify potential employees based on their prior employment history. Finally, a temporary warehouse system provides day-to-day operations for the temporary warehouse, including fulfilling orders placed by customers and monitoring the shipments of such orders.

  • Publication number: 20160042402
Abstract: Disclosed are a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for digital inventories. A database management module provides access to item records and user accounts. The user accounts include respective inventory items. The item records and the inventory items include respective attribute data. An inventory engine accesses an item record corresponding to the target item and a user account corresponding to the target user. The inventory engine, based on the attributes of the item record and the attributes of the inventory items of the user account, analyzes the inventory items of the first user account to determine a compatibility characteristic of the target item relative to the inventory of the target user. The application interface module provides data indicative of the compatibility characteristic for display on the client device.

  • Publication number: 20160035061
Abstract: Disclosed are a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for digital avatars. An interface module receives a request message to determine measurements of a user. A graphics engine sub-module accesses a first set of data that is indicative of locations in a first image of a user. The locations are points of the user's body in the first image. The graphics engine sub-module accesses a second set of data that is indicative of a first physical-space measurement of the user. A computational sub-module determines, based at least partly on the locations and the first physical-space measurement characteristic, an estimate of a second physical-space measurement of the user.

  • Publication number: 20150379623
Abstract: A system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, and a computer-implemented method for providing digital avatars. A first request message is received for requesting a digital representation of a first target user combined with a target product for an online marketplace application on a first client device. The first request message is associated with a first user identifier indicative and a product identifier. Based on the first user identifier, a first user record is selected from a first database. The first user record includes measurement data. Based on the product identifier, a product record is selected from a second database. Based at least on the measurement data of the first user record and the selected product record, model data of the target product is determined and provided to the first client device.

  • Publication number: 20150134479
Abstract: An online retailer may have a number of items for sale. The online retailer may enable a reseller to resell one or more of the items for sale. The retailer may provide items to the reseller at a discount. The price paid by a customer may include a markup from the reseller. The reseller may have a reseller code. When a resold item is purchased by a customer, the reseller code may be provided to the retailer. Based on the reseller code, the retailer may determine the price to be charged to the customer. After an item is purchased by a customer, the markup for the reseller may be paid to the reseller. Resellers may be organized in a hierarchical relationship. One or more of the resellers above the reseller corresponding to the reseller code may receive a portion of the markup for the item.
