    Abstract: A method of preparing a food item from a frozen dough includes thawing the frozen dough, mechanically agitating the thawed dough, forming the thawed dough into cooking portions, and cooking the cooking portions to obtain the food item. The method may also include the step of providing frozen flavoring ingredients, thawing the flavoring ingredients, and mixing the flavoring ingredients with the thawed dough during the mechanical agitation step. A product is provided that includes the frozen dough and the flavoring ingredients, the product being adapted to keep the frozen dough separate from the flavoring ingredients. Methods of making the product are also provided.

    Abstract: An image assisting diagnostic device includes a gastric tube; and a flexible cord removably attached to the gastric tube, wherein the flexible cord includes a first end having a probe tip; and a second end positioned at an opposite end from the first end, wherein the flexible cord includes a series of sections alternating between radiopaque material and substantially radiolucent material. The gastric tube includes a first diameter, and the flexible cord includes a second diameter, wherein the first diameter is different from the second diameter. The first diameter may be larger than the second diameter. The series of sections may be positioned between the first end and the second end of the flexible cord. The series of sections may be positioned closer to the first end than the second end. The probe tip may include radiopaque material.

    Abstract: A respiratory device (e.g., BiPAP machine) to tracheostomy tube connector includes a first component including a first hollow channel through which air is pumped from a respiratory device in one direction, and a second component connected to the first component, wherein the second component includes a second hollow channel through which air moves in two directions to and from a tracheostomy tube, and an opening through which air is vented upon return from the tracheostomy tube. The connector further includes a valve positioned in between the first component and the second component; and a sensor seated in the second component and adjacent to the opening, wherein the sensor detects any of a flow of air in the second component and a motion of the valve.

    Abstract: An endotracheal (ET) tube probe system is configured to identify a proper placement of an ET tube that is placed inside a human body. The system includes a longitudinal member having a first end and an oppositely positioned second end; a magnet positioned at the second end; at least one positional indicator arranged on the longitudinal member; and a mechanism having at least one metallic needle, wherein the longitudinal member is configured to be inserted into the ET tube that is placed in the human body, and wherein the at least one metallic needle is configured to align with the magnet when the mechanism is placed adjacent to and outside of the human body. The top of the at least one positional indicator may be adapted to align with a top of the ET tube to indicate a proper placement of the longitudinal member relative to the ET tube.
