  • Patent number: 11611161
Abstract: A tool for soldering an electrical conductor with a connection device includes a deformation unit plastically deforming the connection device around the electrical conductor. The deformation unit has a fixed deformation module and a movable deformation module that is movable with respect to the fixed deformation module. The fixed deformation module has an anvil with an electrical contact area on which the electrical conductor and the connection device are disposed. An electric current circulates through the electrical conductor and the connection device by passing through an electrically conductive first part of the anvil that is electrically insulated from a rest of the anvil.

  • Patent number: 10348017
Abstract: A process is disclosed for coating a substrate. The process includes providing a substrate having at least one free surface; depositing a first layer of a first material on the free surface of the substrate; depositing a second layer of a second material, different from the first material, on the first layer; depositing a third layer of a third material, different from the first and second materials, on the second layer; depositing a protective layer of a fourth material, different from the first, second and third materials, on the third layer; and performing a reflow of at least the second and third layers from the first, second, and third layers, by transfer of heat through the thermal contact on the protective layer, such that the protective layer prevents oxidation of at least the third layer.

  • Patent number: 8710399
Abstract: The invention provides a device for producing a connection grid with an integrated fuse. The device includes a means for supporting the connection grid, a laser head, and a nozzle for supplying fuse wire. The means for supporting the connection grid is a support having a housing that is suitable for receiving a portion of the fuse in the space formed between two symmetrical arms of the connection grid. The support having an overall shape of a hollow half-cylinder, by a curved base and two lateral ribs standing on the base, and an upper surface of which is turned down by chamfering of the housing side. The laser head and nozzle are mechanically connected to a system of robotized shafts.

  • Patent number: 5805047
Abstract: A fused battery terminal has a stamped and formed terminal member an insulative housing integrally molded over power supply line connection bolts, and a battery post mounting member attached to the terminal member. The terminal member is rigidly attached to the insulative support member thereby providing a safe and rigid support for a fuse link which is integral with the terminal member. Power supply lines can thus be clamped against connection platforms of the terminal member by the bolt and are thus directly connected to the battery post via the fuse link. Safety and reliability of the fuse connection between the battery and power supply line are thus enhanced due to the integral forming of the fuse line onto the battery post connection section.
