  • Publication number: 20230356164
Abstract: A tubular reactor comprises a catalytic powder bed confined in an annular space delimited by an inner wall and an outer wall, the insert comprises a distribution chamber and a collection chamber, separated by at least one first partition wall, the distribution chamber comprising distribution compartments separated from one another by second partition walls, each distribution compartment and the collection chamber comprising, respectively, an intake opening and a discharge opening, the inner wall comprises distributing openings and a collecting opening, each distributing opening enabling the distribution of a gas towards the annular space, and the collecting opening enabling the collection of the gas distributed in the annular space by the collection chamber.

  • Publication number: 20230330612
Abstract: A tubular reactor comprises a powder bed in an annular space delimited by a first wall, of a hollow tube and a second wall, of a hollow insert, the hollow insert comprises a distribution chamber and a collection chamber, separated by at least one partition wall, the distribution chamber is provided with a plurality of distributing openings whereas the collection chamber is provided with a collecting opening, the plurality of distributing openings and the collecting opening are formed at the second wall, the distributing openings enabling the distribution of a gas capable of being admitted through the intake opening from the distribution chamber—towards the annular space, and the collecting opening enabling the collection of the gas distributed in the annular space by the collection chamber.

  • Patent number: 10695743
Abstract: A device for the through-flow of a fluid may include a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A porous structure with interconnected pores is arranged between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet, and the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet define an overall flow direction. The porous structure is coupled to a wall to provide for heat conduction between the porous structure and the wall. The porous structure has a porosity gradient along a first direction, which is cross to the overall flow direction. The porosity gradient develops along the first direction between a first porosity at a first location proximal to the wall and a second porosity larger than the first porosity at a second location remote from the wall. The difference between the second porosity and the first porosity may be at least 4%.

  • Publication number: 20150266144
Abstract: The invention relates to a heat-exchanger module (1) comprising at least one fluid circuit comprising at least one fluid-circulation channel (13), at least one cell containing a phase-change material (PCM) such as a metal alloy or salt, at least the cell(s) being defined by walls (10) of at least one first metal plate (10.1, 10.2, 10.3) which can be welded, diffusion welded or brazed onto a second metal plate (10.1, 10.2, 10.3). The invention relates to the related manufacturing methods as well as to the uses at high temperatures.
