    Abstract: A continuously height-adjustable jump cup attachment bracket for a sporting fence to support a rail includes a jump cup carried on a bearing plate that frictionally engages a support post provided with a channel and a clamping means associated with the bearing plate. The clamping means may be selectively engaged to set the height of the rail of the fence and also to be displaced from such setting in the event of accidental downward movement of the rail in relation to the post.
