  • Patent number: 10955541
Abstract: A method of mitigates RF interference from an RF interferer. An RF signal is received at an RF transceiver during a time period. The RF signal that includes, for at least a portion of the time period, an interference signal having a cyclic transmission pattern with at least one deterministic feature. The received RF signal is analyzed in order to determine timing information for the at least one deterministic feature and the associated interference signal cyclic transmission pattern. Transmission of the RF signals from the RF transceiver are synchronized with the interference signal transmission pattern based on the determined timing information to mitigate interference between the RF signals and the interference signal.

  • Patent number: 10539670
Abstract: Methods and systems for cancelling continuous wave interference in radar systems include defining an integration time period, dividing the integration time period into sub-periods during which the radar sensor system transmits a radar signal integrating a detected signal during both sub-periods to generate sub-period integrated values, wherein integration in the sub-periods is triggered at points of symmetrical opposite polarities of a down converted interferer signal having a non-integer number of cycles in each sub-period, and adding tire respective sub-period integrated values to cancel interference residue of opposite polarity in the respective sub-periods.

  • Patent number: 5763837
Abstract: A measuring apparatus and method for calculating height and weight of human subjects in one step. A scale having a weight sensor is provided to sense the weight of a subject standing thereon. A sonar head is positioned stationary a predetermined distance above the scale sufficient to permit a subject to stand upright on the scale and below the sonar head. The sonar head has a sound wave emitter and a plurality of sound wave receptors. A Digital Signal Processing circuit(DSP) is connected to the sonar head and is activated when the operator initiates a measurement. The data processing circuit is controlled by a software to calculate the weight and height of the subject. The apparatus and method also provides additional data on the subject, such as the body surface area, BA, body mass index BMI, percentiles height and weight. The (DSP) circuit produces a short burst of sound waves that travel downwards, hit the target (patient's head) and return towards the sonar head.
