Abstract: An integrated control device for mounting in electrically heated articles of apparel for controlling power to heating wires secured in the articles of apparel. The control device has a finger-operable switch integrated with electronic circuits mounted on a pcb board. The electronic circuits have a communication circuit to interface with a user person to provide message information to the user person. A waterproof envelope shields at least a portion of the control device. An input electrical connecting port is mounted on the control device and accessible from outside the waterproof envelope. The input electrical connecting port is configured to magnetically receive and retain an external electrical connector having a conductor cable secured thereto to provide power to the electronic circuits from an external electrical power source.

Abstract: A composite horse heating blanket is comprised by an upper electrically heatable blanket section dimensioned and shaped to overlap a top section of a horse's body to cover the back spinal regions and upper regions of the rib cage of the horse on opposite sides of the horse. The upper heating blanket section has a marginal lower side free end edge band region adapted for the securement of a depending blanket section to provide cover below the upper region of the rib cage portion on opposite sides of the horse's body. The upper electrically heatable section is provided with electrical heating elements immovably retained therein at predetermined locations. A battery pouch is provided with dc batteries and a switch controls the electrical power from the batteries to the electrical heating elements. The side blanket sections may be removably attached to the upper blanket section to provide many additional features and advantages with heated or non-heated horse blankets.

Abstract: An electrically heatable, above-the-calf, oversock is formed by interconnected fabric sections. The oversock defines a foot section and a leg section interconnected with one another. The foot section has a toe heating section secured thereto. The leg section is formed of interconnected pattern fabric panels secured together by thread seams. In one embodiment of the oversock, the pattern fabric panels include two elongated side fabric panels extending from a top end of the leg section to the foot section, a front panel and a rear panel. At least the lateral one of the two elongated side fabric panels is formed by two or more superimposed side panel pattern pieces interconnected to one another by stitch seams and defining there between a channel through which extends a power feed wire from a switch secured in a upper part of the channel and accessible from an outer surface of the lateral side panel. The feed wire extends to the toe heating section where it is secured to a toe heating wire.
