  • Patent number: 6767121
Abstract: The invention relates to an illuminating or indicating device for a motor vehicle, including a housing forming a support for at least one light source combined with at least one reflecting surface in order to form an illuminating or indicating beam, enclosing glazing being arranged in front of the light source, and a mask being arranged between the housing and the enclosing glazing in neutral regions of the illuminating or indicating device. According to the invention, only the reflecting surface intended to form an illuminating or indicating beam is metallised or metallic, and the mask is made of transparent material.

  • Patent number: 5818159
Abstract: A deflection yoke for a cathode-ray tube, includes a pair of vertical deflection coils, a pair of horizontal deflection coils and a rigid separator insulating the pairs of deflection coils from each other. The separator has on its surface an arrangement for positioning and holding in place front and rear parts of saddle-shaped deflection coils. The arrangement forms an integral part of a body of the separator and is produced when molding the body.

  • Patent number: 5621287
Abstract: A cathode ray tube display with scanning beam velocity modulation comprises a cathode ray tube with a neck and gun for generating an electron beam. A deflection yoke is mounted on the cathode ray tube for electron beam deflection. A first flexible support having a side for conductor fabrication and a second flexible support having a side for conductor fabrication are superimposed and wrapped to conform to the neck circumference. A first coil pattern is formed as a conductor on the first conductor fabrication side and a second coil pattern is formed as a conductor on the second conductor fabrication side. A conductive connection couples between the first coil pattern and the second coil pattern. A connector couples scanning velocity modulation current to energize said first coil pattern and said second coil pattern for scanning beam velocity modulation.

  • Patent number: 5592045
Abstract: A yoke separator or liner includes a body having a conical shape and a ring shaped retraining member that is attachable to a rear portion of the body by four pairs of pawls and studs. A beam s velocity modulation coil is installed on a support member made of flexible material using a printed circuit technique. The studs are inserted in orifices formed in the support member. The pawls snap onto the studs and press against the support member in a manner to secure the modulation coil.

  • Patent number: 5223769
Abstract: A scan velocity modulation (SVM) coil arrangement for a cathode ray tube has SVM coils arranged on a rear portion of the main horizontal deflection coils. The main horizontal coils are of the saddle type and have flat end turns at the rear of the deflection coil, lying along the surface of the picture tube. The SVM coil is placed over the flat rear end turns forward of the static convergence magnets and forward of ferromagnetic materials associated with the electron gun. The sensitivity of the SVM coil is increased to the point that the coil can be efficiently driven in a progressively scanned raster display, at twice the horizontal rate of an interleaved raster display.

  • Patent number: 5192898
Abstract: This invention relates to a deflection arrangement for a video display of color pictures. The arrangement comprises a deflection yoke including a pair of vertical deflection coils toroidally wound on a magnetic core, using a multi-layer terminal technique. An R-C network is coupled between an intermediate terminal of the firstly wound layer of one of the coils and between an intermediate terminal of the firstly wound layer of the other one of the coils. The R-C network suppresses ringing in the coils that are produced by a horizontal deflection coil during horizontal retrace.
