    Abstract: The present disclosure discusses techniques for fabricating bite interference elements within polymeric dental appliances. The techniques disclose at least one polymeric shell that includes a number of cavities shaped to fit over a patient's teeth. The polymeric shell includes an occlusal appliance surface shaped to fit over an occlusal tooth surface of the patient. One or more bite interference elements are formed within the occlusal appliance surface, and each bite interference element includes a partially disc-shaped feature extending radially away from the occlusal tooth surface when worn by the patient.

The exterior surface of the hollow tube and guide sleeve's internal surface have complementary anti-rotation sections. The drill guide's hollow tube further includes at least one radially extending protrusion limited in the axial extent and formed by an increase in radius of the hollow tube in the apical direction and dimensioned for accommodation in at least one undercut of the guide sleeve, such that when at least one protrusion of the hollow tube is housed in at least one undercut of the guide sleeve the hollow tube is axially retained within the guide sleeve such that removal of the drill guide from the guide sleeve in the coronal direction is prevented.

The latching lug is intended to move into release position during rotation contrary to tightening direction against force of spring clip, in order to provide free running between head region and insertion instrument. The enclosure has break extending over entire cross-section of enclosure and forms spring clip.
