  • Publication number: 20220355033
Abstract: A fluid dispensing device adapted for intramuscular injection into a living organism is provided. The device has an energy storage arrangement providing energy in at least two bursts. The first burst is provided from a first energy source and is that which is necessary to pierce the skin of the living organism and insert the needle to the injection site. The second burst is provided by a second energy source and is that which is necessary to pump the fluid out of the reservoir and into the living organism. Optionally, the remaining energy is used to retract the needle out of the living organism. Together with a prescribed operating sequence of the device, use of the two sources of energy contained in the device is optimized to provide the at least two bursts of energy.

  • Publication number: 20220250721
Abstract: A floating territory made of a semi-rigid floating structure. The structure is able to follow the upward and downward movement of the waves. It can be installed as well close to the shores as in high sea, carrying a rigid structure. Said rigid structure acts like a bridge between the waves and provides a substantially stable surface for the installation of structures for human activity. Said rigid structure remains above the water level. The floating territory can be stabilized in position dynamically by propellers compensating the movement of the streams and/or winds, or by submersed weights attached to said rigid structure, or by pillars planted in the ground attached to said rigid structure. This leaves a vertical freedom of movement to follow the movement of the waves or the tides.

  • Publication number: 20220128269
Abstract: A geothermal installation for collecting heat for the generation of electricity is provided. The installation includes a fluid transport system comprising at least one fluid injection bore extending from a thermoelectric generator located at or near the Earth's surface to a depth below the Earth's surface sufficient such that energy collected can produce electricity. In particular, a depth of at least 500 m, preferably at least 1500 m, and more preferably at least 3000 m is sufficient to see benefits. The fluid injection bore is connected at the said depth, respectively to a plurality of micro-tunnels which extend outwardly substantially horizontally or diagonally downwardly from a horizontal plane passing through the said depth, preferably interconnected in at least one array. The micro-tunnels in turn are connected with fluid return bores which return a heat transfer fluid to the thermoelectric generator.
