Abstract: A lid which is provided with a variable-flow pouring spout and with an improved vent device, particularly for cans of base color for automobile coachwork. The lid includes a vent opening which is provided on an inner face thereof with a channel which leads out at a point close to the edge of the lid, substantially diametrically opposite the pouring spout.

Abstract: A stirring arrangement including an accessory for selective stirring of the base colors contained in hanging paint pots in paint stirring machines. The stirring machines have racks for suspending the pots and devices for stirring the colors therein, with the stirring arrangement including a further rack receiving at least one stirring lid with an associated paint pot, suspended between cantilever slides on the rack, the lid and a stirrer which is attached thereto being rotated by a chain extending along the length of the further rack and actuating a drive pinion thereon. A drive unit for driving the chain connected to a drive shaft of the stirring machine disengages the machine in the operating condition of the stirring lid on the further rack without the racks on the stirring machine being activated, and in the inoperative condition of the further rack intermittently activating the racks of the stirring machine.

Abstract: A lid with an adjustable "quillotine" type pouring arrangement, adapted to be mounted, in particular, on the primary color or paint containers for car bodywork and employed in paint stirring machines. The lid includes at least one component for fixing the lid on a color container; a pouring spout on the lid with an opening portion of this pouring spout being substantially planar; an operating lever which has a lower end pivotably hinged to an upper wall of the lid, and which lever is movable between a resting position and a depressed working position; and a sliding element which is also substantially planar and which is slidable in surface contact with the planar pouring spout opening portion so as to sealingly close the latter.

Abstract: The invention relates to a lid upon which a vessel can be fixed. The lid comprises a pouring spout optionally equipped with a valve device and a handle capable of including control means for said valve device. The lid comprises, moreover, means permitting its mutual fitting upon a support element, a position in which it carries said vessel. The lid according to the invention is especially adapted to be employed in a mixing machine used for the homogenization of a product mixture.

Abstract: An apparatus is provided for locating the level of liquids for particular use in volumetric dosage techniques. A probe is mounted upon a vertical column which slides axially in a slide fixed in the housing of the apparatus. Adjacent to the slide is a threaded rod rotatably mounted in the housing and a releasable nut which is integral with the vertical column and the threaded rod. The releasable nut permits engagement and disengagement of the vertical column and threaded rod. A drive mechanism connected to the vertical column is employed to control a potentiometer as a function of the position of the vertical column.

Abstract: The invention relates to a controllable flow pourer mechanism.This pourer mechanism comprises a valve mounted on an actuating device, of such construction that in closed position, the valve is kept in fluid-tight contact upon the lip of the pourer spout and that, from this position, in a first phase, the valve slides upon the lip of the pourer spout and, in a second phase, the valve carries out a rocking movement.The invention is applied especially to effect mixtures of liquid products.

Abstract: A mixer for use in combination with a vessel having a detachable lid is provided which comprises a helical blade rotatably mounted upon a vertical shaft pivoting at its upper end within a bearing member disposed within the lid of said vessel, said helical blade providing a vertical mixing, and means for imparting a vibratory motion of low vertical amplitude to said blade, said vibratory movement being generated from the rotating motion of the mixer shaft.
