Abstract: A lid suitable for closing a metal can includes a metal ring onto which a peelable membrane is sealed. An inner annular part of the metal ring is equipped with a roll defining an annular space therebetween. The first connection portion of the roll and the second connection portion of the inner annular part opposite are sealed to one another by element of a heat-sealing material to form a seal sealing the annular space so at to protect the free edge of the roll. The invention also relates to a method for producing such a lid.

Abstract: A container such as a can for holding a product to be packaged, in particular a food item, includes a can body (1) made up of a bottom element (2) which is extended by a side wall (3), the can body (1) defining an inner packaging space (6) and including an inner surface (7) made at least partially of tin, which is covered with a protective layer (10) intended for resisting the chemical activity of the product to be packaged. The protective layer (10) includes, distributed over at least one portion of the surface thereof, a plurality of pores (11) through each one of which an area (7a) opposite the tin inner surface (7) can be accessed from the inner container space (6), in particular to allow the release of tin while minimizing the aesthetic impact caused by the chemical activity of the product to be packaged on the tin inner surface (7).

Abstract: A container for a powder material includes an inner portion in the form of a flange (13), and a peelable sealing membrane sealingly attached onto the flange (13) via a peripheral sealing cord (27). The sealing membrane also has at least one pull tab (23) so as to enable the peeling thereof relative to the flange (13) by breaking down the sealing cord (27). The flange (13) has at least one passageway (18) for circulating gas; the passageway (18) is to be sealed by the attached sealing membrane and is located opposite the pull tab (23) so as to release the internal excess pressure from the container (3) upon the initiation of the peeling of the sealing membrane. The container is particularly useful for eliminating, or at least reducing, the splatter of the packaged material.
