  • Patent number: 6533290
Abstract: A feeder chuck according to the invention includes a tubular chuck body with an axial bore through which a bar is passed, with a downstream section including longitudinal slots enabling elastic deformation in the radial direction. An exterior envelope with an internal conical clamping bearing surface comes into contact with an external conical clamping bearing surface of the chuck body, and is screwed onto the chuck body. The intermediate portion of the exterior envelope has a capacity for elastic deformation in the longitudinal direction, for example by virtue of oblique openings. The feeder chuck therefore has a capacity for adjustment of its diameter combined with improved radial retention of the bar.

  • Patent number: 6010080
Abstract: The device is for mounting on a self-propelled vehicle which hydraulically operate the device. The device includes an articulated boom, a boom support on which the articulated boom is mounted, the articulated boom being fixed to the boom support. The equipment is mounted at the end of the articulated boom to be raised or lowered. A hydraulic system including also a rack and pinion is used to rotate the boom support about a vertical axis, which means that the equipment such as a spray nozzle may be positioned at selected locations by simultaneously or alternately raising or lowering the equipment and pivoting it around the vertical axis of the boom support.

  • Patent number: 4357766
Abstract: A snow plow side wing assembly is provided which is hydraulically operated and simply constructed such that it can be easily scaled down for mounting on a lightweight pickup truck. The assembly includes a wing blade, a lightweight frame adapted to be mounted to a vehicle, a pair of upstanding posts mounted fore and aft of the frame with each post including track means and a travel carriage mounted for sliding movement in the track means, and a hydraulic piston and cylinder arrangement mounted on the opposite side of the post to the track means with the cylinder mounted to the base of the post and the cylinder extending upwardly from the cylinder parallel to the post and connected to an extension arm extending parallel to the post and connected to the carriage. Two supporting arms extend from the carriage, both supporting arms being pivotally articulated to the carriage and to separate points on the end of the blade.
