Abstract: A receiver of satellite signals which features a reception chain coupled to a navigation processor. The reception chain is of a homodyne type and is formed by a single frequency-conversion stage followed by an amplifier chain coupled to an encoding circuit for encrypting the signals travelling between each amplifier before their transmission to the navigation computer. Such a device finds particular application in C/A code GPS satellite radionavigation system.

Abstract: The phase comparator device with wide dynamic range comprises a phase comparator with reduced dynamic range to carry out the measurement, on a limited phase range, of the phase difference existing between an incident signal and an external reference signal modulated by a controlled phase signal generator. The device comprises, firstly, a phase accumulation circuit coupled to the output of the phase comparator for the successive accumulation, at determined instants, of the phase differences measured by the phase comparator and actuate the controlled phase signal generator so that its phase permanently follows the value of the phase differences cumulated in the accumulation circuit and, secondly, an adder circuit coupled to the output of the phase accumulation circuit and to the output of the comparator to add the phase difference measured by the phase comparator to the contents of the accumulation circuit. Application: phased carrier tracking loop for satellite navigation receiver.

Abstract: Device for eliminating the noise in 1/f from a Doppler radar comprising in the HF emitting system, a phase coder introducing, at frequency PRF/2 a phase shift of 0 and .pi. alternately, and in the receiving system, after the receiver, a decoder, or gain inverter progrmmable between -1 and +1, acting, in the same manner as the coder, upon the receiving signal and comprising a low-pass filter downstream from the decoder for eliminating the noise in 1/f, that appears at PRF/2, the device being applied to a ground surveying radar.
