Abstract: A gas burner for a cooking apparatus including a head and a cap to be laid upon the head is disclosed. The head includes a base formed with a through-aperture for feeding an air/gas mixture and a peripheral skirt formed with slits substantially perpendicular to the plane of the base. The burner has a plurality of protrusions on the top face of the skirt, each one of the protrusions being at equal distance between two adjacent slits and located at least in part in the inner half of the top face of the skirt.

Abstract: A gas cookstove having in its top face an opening forming a recess for accommodating a removable container below which is mounted at least one gas burner supported by a tray retained on the edge of the recess like opening and interposed between a casing and the bottom of the removable container, the cookstove being applicable to the cooking of any foodstuff in a container removably fitted into the top of the cookstove.

Abstract: A method of continuously modulating a fluid flow rate by means of an electrically controlled sequential valve, consisting in reciprocating the electrically controlled valve provided in a passageway conveying the fluid towards an apparatus to be fed therewith, between a position opening and a position closing said passageway, the frequency of the displacements towards either one of the valve positions being constant whereas the period of holding of the valve in the other position varies in accordance with the flow rate to be obtained, the method being applicable to the adjustement of the flow rate of a fluid such as a gas for a cooking apparatus for instance.

Abstract: A gas burner having a forced air intake and a combustible gas intake. A source of primary air also feeds secondary air to the combustion products at approximately the level of the surface of a plate through which combustion products escape.

Abstract: The apparatus for heating a fluid comprises a heating enclosure supplied in its lower part with fluid to be heated, a combustion chamber comprising a burner at one of its ends and extending on the side opposite the burner inside the enclosure, a fume circulation tube disposed inside the enclosure to constitute a contra-flow heat exchanger, which tube is hermetically connected to the outlet of the combustion chamber and opens out in a fume evacuation device located in the lower part of the enclosure in order to evacuate the fumes to outside the heating apparatus, and means for taking heated fluid in the upper part of the enclosure. The heat exchanger tube is constituted by an originally flexible, tight, ringed metal tube, disposed spirally substantially in the lower third of the enclosure, and so that the different turns of the ringed tube are tangentially in contact with one another in order to form a compact exchanger.
