    Abstract: A heat generator comprises a casing in which are mechanical friction members. A shaft driven by a motor rotates the friction members. A modulator device responsive to the speed of the shaft applies to the friction members a clamping force conditioned by the shaft speed. The heat generator further comprises a system for interfacing a heat-exchange fluid to the casing.
