  • Publication number: 20240116455
Abstract: A mount device for receiving a flag pole is described. The mount device is attachable to a trailer hitch such as a gooseneck hitch or a fifth wheel hitch, which is installed on a vehicle. The mount device includes a connecting tube for inserting into a hitch ball receiving aperture of the trailer hitch. The connecting tube has a top end defining a top aperture. The mount device also includes a receiving tube for inserting into the connecting tube. The receiving tube has a top end defining a top aperture for receiving a flag pole by inserting the flag pole into the aperture of the receiving tube.

  • Publication number: 20170036295
Abstract: The purpose of the TIG Glide is to stabilize the welder's torch hand/arm on the we ding surface with minimal friction to achieve the desired distance between the welding surface and the welding torch. The TIG Glide has minimal contacting surface area, allowing less heat transfer from part to hand/arm. Less heat transfer allows the welder to wear thin gloves versus thick gloves giving the welder more hand/arm maneuverability on bigger parts. This is fulfilled by the device's low friction embodiments, including/not limited to, caster wheels, ball transfers, sliding materials, etc., which are attached with securing devices to the TIC Glide base. The TIG Glide is then secured to the welder with the attachment apparatuses, wherein the welder attaches to, wears, or straps on his arm/hand/appendage a sliding device which glides along the welded piece or support and thus helps to stabilize hand/arm motion, lessen heat transfer, and improve precision.

  • Patent number: 5115520
Abstract: An aircraft toilet system includes a holding tank and a discharge pipe which extends to a service panel located near the skin of the aircraft. A poppet valve is located near the outlet end of the discharge pipe. Leakage of fluids past the poppet valve is corrected in a first embodiment by pressurized cabin air which is ported to a downstream side of the poppet valve and by venting the upstream side of the valve to the atmosphere. In a second embodiment, high pressure air from the aircraft's environment control system is ported to the downstream side of the valve. The resulting pressure differential holds the valve against its seat, and prevents fluid leakage in the event of a damaged valve seal.
