  • Patent number: 7693862
Abstract: A graphical user interface and method of use thereof that allows users to interact with an entity relationship model. The user interface includes zones that allow users to navigate among the entities, roles and fields to create queries that are run against the model. Clicking on an entity in the shows the available fields for the entity. Users can drag and drop entities and fields onto a design surface to quickly and easily build queries. Rules are applied when either an entity or a field is dropped onto the design surface based upon the item being dropped (either an entity or a field), the position of the drop and also the properties that are associated with the item. Entities may be grouped and filtered to sort and limit the results of the query. After query is run, the results may be displayed in a separate area to the user.

  • Patent number: 7526473
Abstract: A preferred path between two selected entities is determined. Initially, there is provided a representation of the data structure in the form of a plurality of entities having relations between them indicative of roles and the relations reflecting a cardinality of one of a one-to-one, one-to-many and a many-to-one relationship between the entities. A query is entered that provides an indication of a first selected entity and a second selected entity. A preferred path is selected through the entities and relations that couples the first selected entity to the second selected entity. The preferred path is selected from a plurality of paths as a function of the number of changes in cardinality along the plurality of paths and a indicator indicative of a preferred role relating two entities.

  • Publication number: 20080255555
Abstract: A surgical apparatus for guiding the position of a medical device to a desired location includes an outer sleeve, a tether, and at least one elastic anchor hook engaged with the tether. The tether may be slideably moveable within the outer sleeve. Additionally, the anchor hook is configured to anchor into bone at the desired location. In certain embodiments, the anchor hook is elastically deformable from an unstressed curved shape to a deformed straightened shape. The anchor hook may be deformed to the straightened shape when positioned within the outer sleeve and may reform to the curved shape upon deployment from the outer sleeve. In certain embodiments, a rod surrounds part of the tether and is used for threading through medical devices to advance the medical devices to the desired location. Additionally, a deployment button may be used to deploy the anchor hooks from the outer sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20060032281
Abstract: A soil conditioner has been developed that includes a bacterial culture endogenous to plants that includes nitrogen present from 0.20 weight percent per volume, 30 to 250 milligrams per liter phosphorus and 400 to 20,000 milligrams per liter of potassium. The soil conditioner stimulates earthworm population growth and activity in a treated soil. The soil conditioner also has applications as a livestock nutrient supplement and as a degradant for oil spills. A process for preparing a soil conditioner involves composting a manure with at least one plant fermentation inoculant to yield a composted mixture. The composted mixture is then fermented in combination with a nitrogenous protein source and seaweed.

  • Patent number: 6832617
Abstract: A fine filter assembly for a dishwasher includes a filter body having an inlet and an outlet located substantially adjacent to one another, and an extended flow path joins the inlet and the outlet so that essentially an entire length of the filter body is used for filtration. The flow path is sloped from the inlet to the outlet and extends substantially 360 radial degrees around a circular outer perimeter of the filter body. Therefore, wash fluid naturally flows from the fine filter inlet to the fine filter outlet all the way around the filter body, and substantially the entire filter body is flushed when the fine filter is drained and a main pump assembly is energized.
