  • Publication number: 20260263239
Abstract: An orthopedic surgical system may include a goniometer including a flexible sensor having a first end and a second end. The first end is coupled to a reference structure, and the flexible sensor generates measurement phenomenon correlated to a relative position of the first end and the second end. The measurement phenomenon is selected from the group consisting of an electrical resistance, a capacitance, a current, a pressure on a piezoelectric substrate, a magnetic field, a magnetic angle, or a mechanical force. A system may include a processing unit communicatively coupled to the goniometer, such that cause the processing unit performs a method including receiving a first signal indicative of a first value for the measurement phenomenon, correlating the first signal with a first angle between the first end and the second end of the flexible sensor, and displaying a value of the first angle.

  • Publication number: 20260020889
Abstract: Systems and devices may include a motor operatively coupled to a driveshaft configured to be driven in a first direction in a first mode for impaction and a second direction in a second mode for retraction. Systems and devices may include an anvil configured to be operatively coupled to an implement. Systems and devices may include an impaction cam operatively coupled to the driveshaft, wherein: the impaction cam, when in an impaction position, is configured to strike the anvil when driven by the driveshaft in the first direction to drive the anvil in an impaction direction. Systems and devices may include a retractor configured to be driven by the retraction cam in the second direction, wherein the retractor is configured to strike the anvil to drive the anvil in a retraction direction.

  • Publication number: 20250387239
Abstract: An impaction device that may include a force transducer and optional accelerometer to measure an impact force between an impactor device and broach/implant or broach/implant handle. The impaction device may include a microcontroller electrically coupled to memory and the force transducer and optional accelerometer, wherein the microcontroller is configured to execute operations stored in the memory, the operations comprising: receiving resistive force data and acceleration data to calculate resistance for each impaction and generate a resistance curve for output to a display.
