  • Patent number: 11033270
Abstract: A wound dressing for use with a closure device is disclosed. The first and second base panels of the closure device are positioned on opposite lateral sides of a wound or incision. The base panels are coupled together to maintain wound or incision closure. A release liner is removed from a bottom surface of the wound dressing. The wound dressing is positioned over the closure device and the wound or incision. Exudate is absorbed by an absorbent material of the wound dressing through a porous strip of the wound dressing. The wound dressing is slightly larger than the closure device so that its perimeter area is adhered to the skin area around the closure device. Alternatively or in combination, the wound dressing is lightly adhered to the closure device and wound or incision area so that it can be removed without harming the underlying device and tissues.

  • Patent number: 11035793
Abstract: An illuminator/collector assembly can deliver incident light to a sample and collect return light returning from the sample. A sensor can measure ray intensities as a function of ray position and ray angle for the collected return light. A ray selector can select a first subset of rays from the collected return light at the sensor that meet a first selection criterion. In some examples, the ray selector can aggregate ray intensities into bins, each bin corresponding to rays in the collected return light that traverse within the sample an estimated optical path length within a respective range of optical path lengths. A characterizer can determine a physical property of the sample, such as absorptivity, based on the ray intensities, ray positions, and ray angles for the first subset of rays. Accounting for variations in optical path length traversed within the sample can improve accuracy.

  • Patent number: 11036503
Abstract: Processing circuitry selectively applies vector processing operations to one or more data items of one or more data vectors. Each data vector comprises a plurality of data items at respective vector positions in the data vector according to the state of respective predicate indicators associated with the vector positions. Predicate generation circuitry apply a processing operation to generate a set of predicate indicators, each associated with a respective one of the vector positions, to generate a count value indicative of the number of predicate indicators in the set having a given state, and to store the generated set of predicate indicators and the count value in a predicate store.

  • Patent number: 11039553
Abstract: A cold air outlet assembly can include one or more cold air outlets arranged to channel cold air to a contained cold region or cold aisle, and one or more bypass ducts arranged to fluidly connect a hot external environment with the cold region adjacent the cold air outlets. The bypass ducts include backdraft dampers arranged to allow flow of hot air from the hot environment to the cold region and restrict flow of cold air from the cold region to the hot environment so that, in operation, limited mixing of hot air and cold air within the cold region occurs under low pressure conditions in the cold region. The temperature of the mixed hot and cold air can be sensed and used for controlling airflow to the cold region.

  • Patent number: 11036861
Abstract: A service provider provides virtual computing services using a fleet of one or more host computer systems. Each of the host computer systems may be equipped with a trusted platform module (“TPM”). The service provider, the host computer systems, and the virtual computing environments generate attestations that prove the integrity of the system. The attestations are signed with a one-time-use cryptographic key that is verifiable against the public keys of the service provider, a host computer system, and a virtual computing environment. The public key of the host computer system is integrated into a hash tree that links the public key of the host computer system to the public key of the service provider. The public key of the virtual computing environment is signed using a one-time-use graphic key issued to the host computer system that hosts the virtual computing environment.
