Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a method, system and apparatus for centralized session management in an aggregated application environment. In one embodiment, a centralized session management method can include aggregating a set of applications in a host aggregation environment. Subsequently, each of the applications can be centrally kept alive so as to avoid a time out condition in any one of the applications so long as interactivity is detected within any one of the applications or within the host aggregation environment. In one aspect of the invention, the aggregating step can include aggregating a set of portlets in a portal environment.

Abstract: Apparatus for containing nuclear fuel material within a containing environment includes an axis along which a fuel rod to be loaded is introduced, a sealing unit provided between the contaminated environment and a non-contaminated environment, the sealing unit including a first seal, a second seal and an extendible part, the first and second seals being attached to the extendible part, the sealing unit having a first state and a second state, the sealing unit having a greater extent along the axis in the second state than in the first. The first seal may be in the form of a disc having a through aperture with the second seal being a resiliently deformable seal which opens about its middle, the second seal being provided closer to the contaminated environment than the first. A method and component for loading nuclear fuel pellets into a fuel rod are also disclosed.

A plurality of adjustable elements are utilized within the work station to facilitate the variation of the work station geometry. A controller is coupled to the adjustable elements of the work station to apply gradual long term motion profile signals to the adjustable elements of the work station. The work station geometry is varied in response t the imposition of the motion profile signals upon the adjustable elements of the work station to provide substantially imperceptible changes of the work station operator's physical position to avoid or minimize the many maladies associated with restricted or limited motion operation within work stations. Further, a continuous passive motion keyboard is provided to change the keyboard positioning relative to the keyboard user.
