  • Patent number: 11935133
Abstract: A system for reconciling invoices includes: an input port receiving benefits information related to insurance benefits recipients and invoices from one or more benefits vendors; a rules engine enforcing rules on the benefits information, the rules engine being configured to monitor the benefits information for determining exceptions based on the rules; a processing unit including a reconciliation module, the reconciliation module analyzing and comparing each invoice against the benefits information to detect any inaccuracies in each invoice, the inaccuracies being designated as exceptions. For each invoice where there is at least one exception, the processing unit is configured to determine whether to include, exclude, or modify the invoice based on a feedback signal from a client device. In response to the feedback signal indicating exclude, the processing unit calculates an adjusted invoice amount by excluding at least one fee associated with the at least one exception.

  • Patent number: 11410246
Abstract: A system for consolidating and reconciling invoices includes: an input port receiving benefits information related to insurance benefits recipients and invoices from one or more benefits vendors; a rules engine enforcing rules on the benefits information, the rules engine being configured to monitor the benefits information for determining exceptions based on the rules; a processing unit including a consolidation module and reconciliation module; the reconciliation module analyzing and comparing each invoice against the benefits information to detect inaccuracies in each invoice, the inaccuracies being designated as exceptions; and the consolidation module merging the invoices into a single bill. During merging, the processing unit calculates an adjusted invoice amount for the invoice which has the exception and incorporates the adjusted invoice amount into the single bill. An output port transmits the single bill to a client device for making a single deposit of funds to settle the invoices.

  • Publication number: 20220227702
Abstract: This invention provides for synthesis of citrulline from a transition metal complex of ornithine using cyanate to derivatize the terminal amino group of ornithine. The invention also provides improved methods for purification of citrulline produced by reaction of cyanate with ornithine via the steps of reprecipitation of copper complex of citrulline, removal of the complexing metal by sulfide precipitation, activated carbon adsorption and antisolvent crystallization.

  • Publication number: 20080132565
Abstract: The invention provides novel polycyclic macrolactones which can be produced, in particular, by a representative of the bacterial genus Verrucosispora. These substances are preferentially distinguished by their pharmacological effect. In particular, they exhibit an antibiotic effect. This antibiotic effect is preferably directed against Gram-positive bacteria.

  • Patent number: 5871616
Abstract: Enzymatic dehalogenation of undesirable nitrogen-free organohalogen compounds is carried out by adding a dehalogenase to an aqueous composition comprising a nitrogen-free organohalogen compound and a nitrogen-containing cationic polymer. The enzymatic dehalogenation of the nitrogen-free organohalogen compound is achieved without any substantial effect upon the nitrogen-free organohalogen compound. The dehalogenation method may be carried out via continuous, batch, or semi-continuous processes.
