  • Publication number: 20240066535
Abstract: A spray system and method are described for controllably applying a coating of nanoparticles to a substrate. In particular, spray system arrangements are described that are configured to meet the goals of high quality nanoparticle deposition on a substrate with minimal waste of costly nanoparticle material. More particularly, a nanoparticle spray system is described herein that includes: a spray nozzle configured to emit a nanoparticle-laden spray flow; a conveyed substrate configured to be conveyed at a velocity; and a controller configured to operate in a feedback loop such that nanoparticles of the nanoparticle-laden spray flow are controllably deposited on a surface of the conveyed substrate.

  • Patent number: 11294454
Abstract: A method of determining relative position of an extended reality mobile display device connected to receive display data from a host device involves determining (S31), by the extended reality mobile display device, a position and orientation of the extended reality mobile display device at a transmit time and transmitting (S32) a first signal to the host device at the transmit time. The extended reality mobile display device then receives (S35) at a receive time a second signal transmitted (S34) from the host device upon receipt (S33) of the first signal. The extended reality mobile display device determines (S36) a position and orientation of the extended reality mobile display device at the receive time and determines a difference (S37) in the position and orientation of the extended reality mobile display device between the transmit and receive times.

  • Patent number: 9971728
Abstract: A connection system includes a flippable cable connector (7) for connecting wires in a cable (5) to a complementary host connector located at a host device (4), the cable connector having a set of cable terminals and a set of duplicate cable terminals corresponding to the set of cable terminals, and configured to be located symmetrically to the set of cable terminals, so that the connector has 180° rotational symmetry. A particular cable terminal (9) is connected to a particular wire (11) in the cable but the corresponding duplicate cable terminal (12) is not connected to it. The cable connector is connectable to the host connector such that either the set of cable terminals or the set of duplicate cable terminals is connected to host terminals of the host connector. The system includes means (18) for determining an orientation of the cable connector relative to the host connector.

  • Publication number: 20080172552
Abstract: The invention relates to a method and to a dvice for the selective and/or time-delayed and collective transmission of messages in a TMN system that is managed according to ITU-T recommendations. To this end, a MassEventDiscriminator is defined as the object class and a MassEventPreprocessor, using the MassEventDiscriminator, transmits only those messages from a network element to an operation system that have an information content significant for the management of the system.
