  • Patent number: 11959433
Abstract: At least one server comprising at least one processor coupled to at least one memory storing instructions. The server can receive a first signal from a first monitored system comprising an internal combustion engine and a first sensor, the first signal associated with a first occurrence of an internal combustion engine event, a second occurrence of the internal combustion engine event, and first measurement data of the first sensor. The server can determine a first measurement from the first measurement data. The server can determine a second measurement from the first measurement data. The server can determine a measurement deviation between the first measurement and the second measurement. The server can compare the measurement deviation to a stored measurement threshold. The server can determine a first exhibited useful life of the first sensor based on the measurement deviation and at least one of the first measurement or the second measurement.

  • Publication number: 20210066830
Abstract: A stripline radio-frequency (RF) connection interface is provided and includes first and second printed circuit boards (PCBs). The first PCB includes a first trace, ground planes at opposite sides of the first trace, dielectric material interposed between the first trace and the ground planes and a first end. The first end is formed as a first rabbet at which the first trace is exposed. The second PCB includes a second trace, ground planes at opposite sides of the second trace, dielectric material interposed between the second trace and the ground planes and a second end. The second end is formed as a second rabbet, which is substantially identical to the first rabbet, at which the second trace is exposed. The first and second ends are mated in a shiplap joint to electrically couple the first and second traces.

  • Patent number: 7241434
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method for treating discolored natural diamond, especially Type IIa diamond and Type IaA/B diamond with nitrogen as predominantly B centers, for improving its color. The method includes preblocking and preshaping a discolored natural diamond to prevent its breakage in a high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) press, placing said discolored natural diamond in a pressure transmitting medium which is consolidated into a pill. Next, the pill is placed into a HP/HT press at elevated pressure and elevated temperature within the graphite-stable or diamond-stable range of the carbon phase diagram for a time sufficient to improve the color of said diamond. Finally, the diamond is recovered from said press. Colorless and fancy colored diamonds can be made by this method.

  • Patent number: 5398991
Abstract: A display support apparatus for supporting a generally flat, video display from a passenger seat arm rest is disclosed. The video display is of the type having a screen mounted on a front face, and the arm rest is of the type having a recess for stowing the video display and the display support apparatus. An angled support arm having first and second ends is included. The support arm has a length at least as long as a diameter of the front face of the video display. A first pivot block is used for pivotally attaching the video display to the first end of the support arm. The first pivot block has a first freedom of movement to permit the video display to be rotated with respect to the support arm between a viewing position and a position in which a side of the video display and the support arm are aligned and substantially parallel with each other to form a generally rectangular configuration which is stowable in the arm rest recess.

  • Patent number: 5359897
Abstract: An apparatus for determining the time taken for sound energy to cross a body of fluid in a pipe uses a modified pipe in which flat members seal apertures in the pipe and two transducers are attached to respective fiat members, wherein the material around each aperture curves away from the centre of the pipe towards the periphery of the aperture and contacts the respective flat member along the entire periphery of the aperture.
