  • Publication number: 20130077322
Abstract: A light (10) includes an upper mounting bracket (17), a light socket assembly (26), and a lower mounting bracket (34) and a glass disc mounting bracket (42). The lower mounting bracket includes a central plate (35) and two oppositely disposed arms (39). Each arm has three pairs of vertically spaced screw mounting holes (40). The glass disc mounting bracket (42) is coupled to the lower mounting bracket. The glass disc mounting bracket includes a central portion (43) and two arms (45) which are configured to mate with lower mounting bracket arms. Each arm has a pair of mounting holes (46) therethrough. A pair of threaded mounting screws (47) pass through the glass disc mounting bracket mounting holes and are threaded into one of the three pairs of screw mounting holes within the lower mounting bracket. A light diffusor (54) is coupled to the glass disc mounting bracket.

  • Publication number: 20130076213
Abstract: A ceiling fan motor (10) is disclosed which is coupled to a motor adapter (11) which in turn is coupled to a downrod (12) and motor housing (13). The ceiling fan motor has a stationary stator (17) and a rotor (18). A motor shaft (20) is coupled to the stator. The motor shaft has an upper portion (23), a middle portion (24), and a lower portion (25). The shaft upper portion has a helical thread (28) and five C-clip spaces (29) which are longitudinally spaced from each other. A C-clip (31) is fitted into one of the five C-clip spaces. The C-clip is configured to abut the bottom surface (32) of the motor adapter to limit the downward movement and position of the motor adapter upon the motor shaft.

  • Publication number: 20030063827
Abstract: A hub assembly for coupling the road wheel of a vehicle to the suspension system of the vehicle includes a hub provided with a spindle, a housing surrounding the spindle of the hub, and an antifriction bearing located between the spindle and the housing. The bearing includes tapered rollers arranged in two rows as well as a pair tapered inner raceways carried by the spindle and a pair of tapered outer raceways carried by the housing. One of the tapered inner raceways is on a race that is initially separate from the housing, and this race has a recess that opens axially out of its end. The spindle has an integrally formed end that is received in the recess. The spindle and inner race may be engaged with splines and the inner race may further have an axial extension provided with an external spline that is selectively engaged by a connect-disconnect ring on a CV joint.
